Location. Food good, but expensive. Breakfast dear for what was on offer. On site parking very, very limited and needs to be booked in advance.

Handy car parking - very convenient I had an injured knee & was on crutches. No offer of help or acknowledgement from staff. No direction to the lift. Staff unsmiling & not at all friendly. Meal in restaurant was horrible - not worth the money. Husband had to specially request the glass of port that was included in the cheese course. It was unforthcoming. None of the fruit on cheese trolly was offered & we were made to feel we were difficult by asking for some. On crutches & led to furthest table in restaurant - despite only 2 other tables occupied in it all the time we were there. We wont be returning

Good value for money 3* accommodation, within an easy walk of the Grand Place. A very substantial and varied breakfast, if a little expensive. Exterior looking a little tatty. Disappointing evening meal in the hotel restaurant.

The hotel is lovely and we were very pleased with our room. The position in Arras is great with easy access to the town centre and is well signposted. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and found the food to be good - and breakfast was great. The reception staff were charming and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We found the restaurant/bar staff to be unhelpful and quite rude!

The staff were excellent they could do enough for us. The food was very good but different choices each day would have been better. The bath facilities were not sufficient I.E. no hair conditioner. Tea and coffee facilities would have made the stay more comfortable. We put something in the fridge and we forgot - it would have been good if the reception staff had made a note of it on our bill so they could have given it to us when we left

It is a beautiful old building and the soft furnishings were lovely Very difficult to find, especislly when driving alone. I had to park and find it on foot. Very limited car parking. No comfortable chair in room, no kettle in room, no mini fridge and one wall was very thin (although to be fair I did not hear any noise)

My stay at the hotel De l univers was a short weekend break to visit the town of Arras. The hotel was ideally situated just off the centre of town and the main square'S. We did not eat at the hotel, for no other reason than for the short stay we wanted to try local French restaurant's, although the restaurant at the hotel looked very elegant. All the staff were very polite and helpful and the bedroom we stayed in was very comfortable and roomy. I would recommend paying to park the car.

The situation of this hotel makes it an ideal place to stay on a visit to Arras and the surrounding countryside. It is comfortable and relaxing. Excellent friendly & professional staff.very good breakfast with plenty of choice. We would definitely stay again & highly reccomend it to others.

The hotel facilities were very good and the staff were extremely helpful when we discovered , after leaving Arras that one of the boys had left his i-pad at the hotel. We were disappointed with the service at Dinner.

Fabulous hotel. Fabulous location. Helpful and friendly staff and lovely rooms. Would definitely go back again and again. On the website it does say free parking but it is actually 9 euros per day but as you are so central it is worth it to leave the car in a secure area and still be able to go out and about.
