Location was central Short walk from train station. Breakfast was standard. 50 Euro return taxi to Canadian War Memorial (Vimy Ridge), our visit was too early in season for local tour operators.

This hotel is quite historic and was once a monastery, then a hospital and now a hotel. We chose the cheapest rooms for economy reasons but they were nicely decorated, very clean and very comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and we had one of the best meals of our trip here. The prices are reasonable too. The wine list is impressive but it includes lots of very decent wines that won't break the bank. The sommelier is first-rate and she offered to take us for a tour of the wine cellar after her shift ended, even though that turned out to be around midnight! If you are travelling by car don't forget to ask in advance for a parking spot - they are limited. All good!

Classical styled and quality surroundings. Extremely clean and welcoming. Good location. Reasonably priced given the local pricing levels. Facility available to book parking space. Quality of breakfast- priced at 14 euros this was not value for money. Did not eat evening meal to make comment on this. Any recommendation to other travellers would be to stay but make other arrangements for breakfast

A very nice hotel and lovely room (despite being up at the top with limited head room). Enjoyed an excellent evening meal in the restaurant and the breakfasts were good. Convenient for central Arras and not too far to the WW1 commememorative sites.

It's position in central Arras..The hotel, whilst central to the town, is formed around a courtyard where safe parking is located. Most of the rooms face this courtyard so are quiet which is a bonus in a town centre. It is easy to walk to all the town's attractions from the hotel which is a bonus as the one way system is a disaster and made fgetting to the hotel very dificult Some roms are a very long way from the lift and therefore a long walk.In some cases this includes more stairs to reach a room.

Public areas comfortable and clean. Room 120 Jungle fever in France. Very dark as no centre light, a mass of Leopard print, curtains, bedspread even lampshades, brown hesian walls and wildlife pictures. I thought that my partner had booked the room as a joke ! The room was unlike anything shown on the website, was this really a Best Western Hotel? Breakfast OK for France but by 8am had ran out of scrambled eggs and was told that there were not anymore. Not good enough for 14 euros. Perhaps the Leopards had the chickens!

Has character , centrally located, pleasant inner courtyard. Also very good buffet breakfast in the morning. It's location within Arras is very hard to find !.... all the one-way streets make it awkward to locate, However, once located... It is very good' in the centre of the city, and quiet.

Very convenient location in the town, very secluded so very quiet, very comfortable room and pristine bathroom, very helpful staff and lovely dining room, excellent breakfast. Having stayed before, I noticed the outside painting is now very tatty, hopefully they will repaint soon! No tea/coffee facitilties in bedroom, but we are English I admit! Also TV selection was not as per the manual, no BBC! on channel 19/20?

Excellent location close to the lively squares. The room was lovely and comfortable, with a wrought iron four post bed and two comfortable chairs. Finding it was a problem. We followed the signs diligently, and then they disappeared. Parking is €9, but worth it for the lack of hassle of trying to find a place in the town. You should pre-book which is not a facility I could find on Booking.com.I Think €14 for breakfast is extreme if you only want a coffee and croissant but there's a lovely friendly patisserie in the main square, but not open on Sundays.

Well positioned for the town centre and restaurants. The additional £9 required for parking. The high powered courtyard lights made the room very light at night.

The staff were excellent they could do enough for us. The food was very good but different choices each day would have been better. The bath facilities were not sufficient I.E. no hair conditioner. Tea and coffee facilities would have made the stay more comfortable. We put something in the fridge and we forgot - it would have been good if the reception staff had made a note of it on our bill so they could have given it to us when we left

“Even though the hotel is a bit run down, we have sinced decided to stay at the Campanile hotels twice after our stay in Arras, on our drivr through northern France. They're priced ok, both cheaper and more expensive places can be found, but this hotel chain has managed to have us return.” Jan, Copenhagen S |
