The staff were charming and helpful. The triple room was a reasonable size and clean. We appreciated the airconditioning and the spacious wardrobe. We also appreciated the tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom worked well. Free wifi is a huge plus. The entrance and staircase are tired and will benefit from some updating and the lift is not adequate at all. Breakfast is very pricey, especially when there are several excellent cafes very nearby. Also beware that the hotel adds the cost of breakfast onto the bill even if you did not have it, so you need to ask to have it removed.

The hotel was very central to Paris and right near the Arc de Triomphe. So the location was perfect, the staff spoke English and were very friendly 100% no complaints. The room was clean and basic. The street name is not on alot of the main maps of Paris or tourists maps and there for it was easy to get lost. When trying to find my way back to the hotel. The lift was too small and I did not go for the breakfast but felt it was over priced at €13.00. Oh and to turn off the lights you had to take the card out of the power supply.

This hotel was great, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It's in walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe and there is plenty of shopping to do in the area. Right down the street was a mini market that you could buy food or water for the room. The subway was also a few blocks away and we found that to be an affordable way to get around Paris. We came to Paris to run the Paris Marathon and we chose this hotel since it was so close to the starting line up. Also, the staff were very nice and helpful! The breakfast was expensive ($13 euro person) and the options were scarce. You are better off eating outside of the hotel or buying food at the mini market and eating in your room. The elevator was very small and fit a max. of 2 small people. We sent our luggage up the elevator and had to run up the stairs to meet it at the top. Other than that, the hotel is great and was affordable.

Excellent location, walking distance from arc de triomph and champs elysée, plenty of restaurants and shops around, metro station right at the corner. Clean. The stuff were very helpful, especially the lady on the day shift Expensive compared to the hotel rating and services, very small elevator and poor lobby, fair breakfast

Polite English speaking staff greeted me; the room was clean and was quiet. Breakfast hours were long (even starting at 0700 on a Sunday). The hotel is well located; a short walk from the Arc de Triumphe but was in its own middle class area with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. As well as the Metro (line 2; Ternes) there are direct buses to Gard du Nord (43) and Gare de l'Est (31). The single room was very small with the bathroom being particularly so. Hotel tv featured only one English language channel (cnn).

I had a really cute room on the top floor with a twin bed. It felt like I was in a really nice bedroom. There was a skylight in the bathroom and the view of the rooftops was charming. A really ideal location. So close to L'Etoille Arc de Triomphe and food (restaurants, G20 supermarket, cafes, etc.).

“Balmoral has a nice location. Staff is very friendly. The room was small but very clean, it was quiet. Metro and RER station is 1 min from hotel. We did not use breakfasts in the hotel, but the was a mini-market opposite the hotel, and the supermarket 5 min away. Actually it is the place that I would recommend.” Maria, Moscow |
