staff very friendly location good
quite noisy in the night (trains) athmosphere at best alright
Close to trains shopping and restaurants.
Cramped bedroom with only one chair for 2 people!! No decaffeinated coffee available at breakfast, the attendant suggested I use the facilities in the room!!
It's comfortable, clean and modern. Very handy for the city centre, albeit in a slightly edgy area. The breakfast buffet was adequate and well presented. The receptionist Alexandra spoke excellent English and was very friendly and helpful.
Just two small niggles. The English language TV channels weren't working (though the French ones were); and at times there was too much noise coming from the kitchen into the breakfast room.
Very modern bathroom, wonderful rainfall shower head. Expresso machine in room with excellent coffee. The room was very small but it had everything we needed, including a safe and bar fridge. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had the one room with a balcony, which was nice for sitting outside in the evening.
Rooms are very small.
Central location, good breakfast, terrace, friendly staff and the shower.
Room was a little small.
The staff and location
Small room size
Location Clean and comfortable Friendly staff Good breakfast
Very small room with shower opening into bedroom Toilet door had no internal handle so couldn't be shut
Bed,coffee machine,cleanless,and staff.
Very friendly and helpful staff day & night. Extremely comfortable rooms well equipped.
Directions could be better as Montpelier is the 8th largest town in France and a lot of one way roads. Print off a street map beforehand and know exactly where you are heading.
The young staff could not have been more helpful. Parking was great. Everything we could have wanted but no unnecessary frills
The staff were excellent. The hotel clean and tranquil and although beside tramway and railway there was no intrusion of noise.
We loved everything about this place. We could have spent our whole time in the bathroom shower. Amazing! If you have used bathrooms in France then you know that most are small, this one was huge. It was also modern and green. Boy, I wish I was still there. The staff was also super friendly and spoke fluent English. The location was pretty good too. Very close to the train station and the town center.
Loved everything about this place!
The location was near enough to the City Centre. Room design was especially pleasing. All service was fine.
The rumble ot trains was heard too often. The location is not actually in the most solubrious part of Montpellier. If we had not known the rough whereabouts of the hotel from earlier trips to Montpellier it would have been difficult to find it by car.
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Coffee pod machine in the room. Comfortable bed, clean.
We stayed 3 nights. Staff really great, arrived way before check in time, no problem, room right away. Clean, comfortable, looked brand new. Fabulous walk in shower. Great air con. Right next to trains and trams, but so well proofed we never heard a thing.
Not in any way the hotels fault and easily avoided, but my wife didn't like the 'short cut' staircase from the tram tracks at Polygone Centre. She found it a bit off putting When you exit the hotel go right, and into town that way, and it isn't an issue.
Very helpful and friendly reception staff, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The location was difficult for me, although it was in walking distance of the main square, it was difficult for anyone with restricted mobility.
Staff were very professional and friendly. They were helpful with recommendations and bookings for local tours.
The hotel location is only a few blocks from the train station, and right at a tram stop, but difficult to find, so print yourself a good map! Also, access to the center city is easy and close but sort of scary at night.
The Best Western Eurociel is a fairly new, modern hotel in easy walking distance of the center of the city or the train station. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was.
I had no complaints.
The rooms were comfortable and clean, the receptionist friendly and helpful
Was rather further from Place de la Comedie than I thought it would be. I thought at 125 euros and 14 euros for parking it was expensive for what you actually got. Not the best hotel I have stayed in.
Close to station and 5 minutes easy walk to historical centre. Room with terrace was lovely. Staff were friendly and spoke English so our very poor French was not put to the test.
Staff was very helpful, secure parking for 12 euro/day
Breakfast buffet was ok, but could be a bit more
Service and location very good.
Rooms very small with unusual toilet arrangement.
Friendly helpful staff who gave us good dinner hints and went out of their way to get our safe open at night. Modern fresh, clean building Good car park Nice small balcony to relax on. Close to old town, felt safe though had to walk through underpass. Easy to walk to station with luggage.
Entrance sign at underpass could be clearer, we went down instead of turning right and got lost for a while. Batteries in safe ran out.
Modern, clean, functional hotel in a very good location near train station and town centre. Safe secure parking for cars. Terrace for smokers. Breakfast was adequate. Rooms small but fairly well equipped. Did not find noise from nearby trains/trams to be an issue at night. Helpful, friendly staff. Overall pretty good value for our one night stay in Montpellier.
Rooms small, especially for 2 people. Shower and bathroom vanity basically inside the room itself. Toilet like a broom cupboard, not particularly private as walls did not seem to go right up to ceiling, rather odd!
