Best Western Grand Massif  

Spotlessly clean with very friendly and helpful staff. A great hotel for the independent skier/traveller to spend a few days in.

Good location and easy links to nearby airports means can reach Morillon village in quick time. Clean hotel, friendly staff, very nice place to stay. Swimming pool reasonable size Area to store skis and boots

Bit of a trek to the Ski lift, probably 800m & no information around about the ski buses. No bar within the hotel.

The staff, especially Annie, were excellent, the hotel offered excellent value for its location, the services on offer, inc the Swimming pool, were better than expected at this price point. We were offered breakfast free of charge due to a minor problem in our bathroom, this was more than adaquate compensation and a very nice touch.

On the downside the rooms are not serviced during the stay. The coffee served at breakfast was instant from a machine, not real as expected in France, also the choice of cereal, no muesli, and fruit were limited. Otherwise the food was fresh and of a high quality.

Bit of an identity crisis ! - is it a hotel or an aparthotel or a motel. No comfy bar area, no english speaking TV - we went out every night to eat (counted 14 BW residents eating at local hotel one evening)

The bed was comfortable. Except for the manager the rest of the staff were wonderful and deserve a gold star. The apartment we ended up with was very roomy and didn't smell as much as the first one. The balcony was nice, but there was nothing on it. No table or chairs, so you couldn't use it. All in all it is a comfortable hotel, but we would never stay there again.

They have been open for 10 months and this hotel is not set up to Best Western standards. They need to find a new manager. We stayed for a week and the pool was broken the first three days, it took 2 days to warm up so we could use it and that only left one day to swim. We had no internet in our room and was told by the manager that it would not be fixed until ski season. Our first room had such a bad smell they changed our room the next day. It still smelled a little, but with the spray deodorizer they gave us it was manageable. We did not take part in the 10 Euro per person breakfast. The kitchen is understocked to say the least and they had no cups. They need to hire a maintenance person. Dozens of things need to be fixed around this hotel, small things like screws missing for door fixtures and lights that are not properly attached to the wall or don't work at all. Then to top it of our dishwasher broke and we couldn't use it. They turned off the operation at the electrical panel. All of the handrails need to be varnished and if they don't get on some of this stuff this hotel is going to deteriorate at a rapid rate. They have weeds for landscaping. We are still in dispute over the final bill and have contacted Best Western Corp.

The Hotel staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was perfect.The room was clean and comfort.Swimming pool is quite warm.Beautiful view!!!

Location and frendliness of staff, also rooms were clean.

The swimming pool was too cold to swim in, we have ours at home 30 degree's this pool was so cold the children cried and no one could swim it was less than 24 degrees. The hotel should not be advertised as a heated swimming pool because there effectively is not one.

-La piscine est très agréable après une journée de ski (bonne amplitude horaire). - Personnels très sympathique et disponible. -La literie est très confortable et spatieuse (largeur du lit 2m) -Kitchenet dans la chambre (idéal pour petit déjeuner)

-La wifi ne fonctionnait pas dans les chambres. -Certaine chaines de la TV ne fonctionnait pas.
