Best Western Hôtel Riviera  

Our stay at hotel Best Western Riviera was beyond our expectations. I did choose this hotel based on the great reviews l had read about it. Yes, they were all true. Very clean bedrooms and communial areas,great breakfast and a packed lunch was offered every day which was a great touch. Its so very near the station which was such an asset. Originally we were going to hire a car but on our arrival and our greeting from the wonderful reception staff....especially the wonderful Norbert....what an asset this guy is to this hotel. Such knowledge of the area and the Cote D'Azur. With his advice and help we travelled by train very easily to Monte Carlo, and the town of Grasse. We packed so much into our three night stay. Nice is a wonderful city.

The staff.Especially the young lass who booked us in. Jeanna I think her name was.She was so pleasant,very welcoming and extremely helpful with maps,directions & suggestions about what to see & do and speaks very good English.An asset to the hotel. Mind you they were all nice and the hotel is only a 3 minute walk from the staion.

I would have liked more direction to the hotel at the station,as its not able to be seen when arriving and we were driven around the block a couple of times by an unscrupulous taxi driver who chaged us 18 Euro.

Your reciept says I booked and paid for two rooms. The hotel said Mr Thompsons room was not paid so he had to pay. The owner would not give us any Best Western points as we did not book direct. We will not be using your services again nor Best Western in France.

Not a great area for walking after dark

Compared to most French hotels... Clean, newly renovated, decent breakfast, courteous staff and the lunch bag - a little thing but makes you smile!

The beds were comfortable, bathroom very good , all very clean and good value breakfast and the staff did a good job.

Very very small room and a slightly intimidating street scene. Three other Hotels that I saw in the group were better placed perhaps for Women on their own.

I liked the location, it's very close to the railway station and 15 minutes walk to the centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel provides a good breakfast and package of sandwiches with water, which was really useful. I highly recommend this hotel

No complaints at all

The hotel service is very nice than other hotels lived for 30 days traveling. I loved teapot and lunchbox♥ Room and bath room is big enough.

The hotel was close to the train station, the shops and very handy for the airport shuttle bus. Getting a lunch box everyday was great too. The staff were so helpful and could'nt do enough for us. Would recommend it to other travellers to Nice.

The only down side to the hotel, was the room it was small, but adequate.

Good location near to train station. Staff were helpful. Rooms were clean but not huge. Nice bathroom though. Breakfast was good but there could have been more choice. Would stay there again as the location near the station made it very easy to visit other places along the Riviera.

Good location,only 2min waling distance form Nice train(TGV) sation. friendly breakfast offering.I like most is the lunch box(sandwich,fruit,water) for customer,and welcome drink!

The staff were very welcoming and informative about the city and surrounding area. The room was comfortable, although small, but very clean. It was good to have tea/ coffee making facilities in the room- something which is unusual on the continent. I would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a good value hotel for a short break.

The room was very small and the air conditioning wasn't very efficient. It is in a noisy, run down area near the station and there are some sex shops nearby.
