All of the rooms and suites at the Best Western Le Dauphin have flat-screen satellite TV. Caen Carpiquet Airport is only 4 miles away and the ferry port is just a 20-minute drive away. After a day exploring nearby sites such as the Château de Caen, you can spend an evening sampling Normandy’s delicious cuisine in the hotel restaurant. Seafood and fine wines are a specialty. Like many other hotels, this hotel is also positioned in the centre of Caen. Careful: - this hotel charges extra for the SPA they are advertising (30 EUR for 2). - the SPA is tiny (the smimming pool is about 3-4 meters long) and not worth the money at all. - the rooms were very small and smelly. - the manager was extremely unfriendly and rude. The whole place is highly overpriced (compared to other options nearby). We cannot recommend this hotel at all.

Well situated, nice bar, good restaurant. The manager not professional, very aggressive and not honest. There's no SPA just a very small sauna and not a real pool! and not clean; we surprised a couple making love there and after we let know the reception, they didn't change the water!! For breakfast we found some fruit not fresh at all. If You ask some bred they charge you 10 euros. when you borrow an umbrella they charge you 20 euros. So you have to check 2 times your bill before you pay. Really to avoid this place...

We are always happy to find opportunities if we can stay in any of Best Western Hotel,so when we found Le Dauphin in Booking.com,we know we made a good choice.Like most BW hotels,the room is always clean and the staffs are just nice and helpful. There are lots of varieties for breakfast and the hotel location is just in the centre of Caen,which is great when you want to discover the city à pied. We left our camera case & the hotel receptionist is nice enough to call us back (we were already check out!).We're really appreciate it. If there's several things that we want to highlight during the stay in Le Dauphin,is mostly the room.We found the mattress were really soft (for those who has no probs with soft mattress,then you'll be OK),the size of the room were quite small (in our opinion).Like others already wrote,the size of toilet and bathroom can be a problem if you are more at ease with a comfy & spacious space.Regarding the insulation,when we were there,the hotel were not full,but we can hear most of everything from the next & upper room.We stayed one night only,so we barely think about it now.

Its location in the center of Caen, which itself is in a good location in Normandy Mixed feelings about staff. Plastic cups in room. Sparse soap and shampoo. Limited parking.

Very help full young lady at the reception when we arrived. Restaurant excellent service and beautiful food. Gym was huge disappointment: Gross Trainer did not work and there was really nothing else apart form power plate!

The food, location and facilities were fantastic. Stayed there last year. Will stay again. Have stayed in other Best Western hotels in France. All good. Parking a bit tight at times.

Staff very knowledgeable and helpful, esp. Antoine. Included breakfast very good value. Hotel bar expensive - best avoided. Location excellent for Caen itself. Within easy walking distance of all town centre facilities and Caen's major historical sites. Car park very small. No lift. Rooms small but clean and comfortable.
