The staff very very helpful and nice! I want to personally thank Alexandre he was there to check us in and out ! He help us , well beyond his job! We had car trouble and he called and figured ways for us to catch our flight! We preciate his help and would return to the hotel because of his hospitality
Nothing all was great
Staff so helpful Leisure facilities excellent
Pool could just have been warmer
the restaurant was good, the lounge is kind of nicely designed...The staff is nice and helpful. Balcony with view. optional outside parking for free.
When I got there, I discovered this "boutique" hotel is owned by Best Western... and in my opinion, it is still very much just a Best Western. It felt generic and old with a few modern furniture pieces and some purple lighting veneered over it. The pillows were lumpy fiber fill - no down pillows at this "four star". The duvet was thin. Things in the room looked worn. For example, the book with the hotel information looked like it had been in a child's school back pack for 3 months! The desk was dinged up and the rug felt old. Everything just felt cheap and worn for a 4 star hotel - I would forgive that if it was an old building that had some charm from it's age - but that's not the case. It really feels like a basic generic 3 star hotel that a corporation realized that if they put "boutique" in the name - they could charge more for it. There is a spa, which I didn't check out, so perhaps that's where the 4th star comes from?!
Excellent location in centre of Chamonix, spa and pool very clean and an area of peace and tranquility. High class restaurant and nicely furnished bedrooms. If you are there for skiing don't go till 20 December as everything is closed!
Not enough snow
Great location, very friendly & helpful staff, parking and great mountain views from the balcony.
The bedroom & bathroom a bit small. But that didn't really matter to us.
our stay was great. lovely hotel, comfortable room. nice view.
Very nice location, comfortable rooms with very large beds (super king size). The Michelin 1 star restaurant was also excellent & scored 10/10 with us for both presentation & quality of food. Has a sauna, steam room & pool in the basement. All this with off street parking makes it the perfect place to stay.
Although the restaurant was excellent the menu was limited which meant we had to eat out which was a real shame as we could otherwise have quiet happily stayed at the hotel every night.
Misunderstood parking , thought outdoor was on the street and paid to park in underground area. You really don't need to bother.
The staff are excellent in contrast to most French in Chamonix. The hotel is stylish and comfortable and despite it being a trendy place they seem very welcoming to young children.
Despite getting a larger room this time, the bathroom is still uncomfortably small for one and even worse when trying to get a child washed too. Breakfast menu is limited and it would be good if food could be ordered all day.
Staff great so friendly and helpful especially Sandra. Restaurant very good .Food and presentation excellent.
Bed a little hard. Would have liked not looking onto another building, higher floor.table and chair in room would have been helpful as in your sister hotel.
Very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent restaurant whose manager responded very quickly and positively to our complaint about slow service. Good central location. Very convenient underground car park.
Lack of lighting in bedroom.
Location, staff, cleanliness.
Small size of room, poor wifi.
Front desk staff were very helpful and attentive, they helped up book transfers and understand the french bus time as well as make suggestion of the best restaurant nearby as per our cuisine preference. The decor of the hotel is chic modern with artistic flare. The bed was comfortable with medium level of corridor noise. The value was great in off season $15 for breakfast. Included everything you could want to a great standard.
Were unable to get tea/coffee whilst seated in the lobby. Advised that we would be attended to but were overlooked. There is a beautiful small spa. The steam room and sauna are ample but the changing rooms and showers are so small that if you raise your elbows in either area you will hit the wall on both side of the room, so it was impractical. Beautiful rooms and bedding but pillows were jumbled pieces of foam and did not hold any shape (like very old pillows) Free wifi, but you need to re log in with bedroom and password each and every time you want to log on.
We had an Excellent time at the hotel, the stuff was VERY helpful (Thanks to Jofri)
- Nothing !
The staff is great, rooms are clean.
Bed was kinda hard, shared balcony on 1st floor, smell of chlorine (from pool) in the elevator.
The staff were fantastic, especially Sandra at the front desk. She was extremely service minded and made her very best to help us whenever needed. Have rarely met somebody that made you feel more welcome as a guest and with such good advice.
Two things come to our mind.Firstly, the bathroom roof where the painting was cracking in a big spot and secondly, the SPA where the indoor pool was plain cold and the hammam not warm enough.Only the sauna was working which was very disappointing as the SPA area is beautiful and one of the main reason we choose this hotel. Again, thanks to Sandra at the reception we were giving a free entry to the SPA at their sister hotel nearby.
My husband and I were so pleased with our stay! Because it was our honeymoon, we were upgraded to a nicer room with a stunning view of the mountains. The staff was very helpful- they gave us restaurant and hiking recommendations. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to come back for our anniversary some day!
Excellent view and location. Great staff.
Room lacked ventilation in the bathroom.
Everything is perfect. Staff very friendly, especially Geoffrey (Jefri-tall young gentleman from Cannes, France) . Perfect view from rooms, clean rooms, excellent location, value for money. Definitely will stay there again.
Breakfast is not included ;), and the price is high 19 Euro. Nearby price for the breakfast is cheap.
Good location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Baring in mind that it's Chamonix, price of accommodation is very fair. Free outside parking and well working wifi. Wellness center good, although a bit small. Will recommend the hotel and stay there next time.
Big spacey rooms, clean hotel lobby and rooms. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
The toilet seat is separated from the washroom hence this is not practical not to mention un-hygienic.
Great views of mountains. We were allocated a room with an outdoor balcony. Great location near restaurants, shops & aiguille du midi cable car station. Staff were excellent. Off street parking for a modest fee.
Bit better range at breakfast & dinner.
Very nice hotel for those who want to spend a few days in Chamonix. Very close to the city center and the cable car departure point for the summit of Monte Blanc. A nice little spa and a rich breakfast.
Expected a larger room for a "Delux room" grade.
My family spend 20+ days traveling through France and Italy. Chamonix was one of our favorite stops. First, the tall guy from the hotel came out to the hotel to help us load our things into a cart. Then, he brought us to our rooms and when he showed us the kid's room, he gave my daughter a small teddy bear! The room was super clean and comfortable. The bar is beautiful. The pool is amazing. I really can't find a single negative thing to say.
Friendly staff. Everything was perfect.
