The hotel is in a good location, very close to the city centre. The room was big and modern. The hotel has been modernised. The spa is very good.

I booked through booking.com but yet paid the full price for an standard room and being early May the hotel was fairly empty, I rarely saw anyone around. My room was in the first floor looking into the hotel parking lot. The above balcony would hide the view of the mountains. I asked to be changed to another room but they said only if I paid EUR 30 more for each night. The rooms are already expensive and should have a pleasant view for that price. Some of the staff don't understand English over the phone so I had to go to reception when I needed something to speak in person. The restaurant is not so good and expensive. I didn't enjoy staying in an expensive room with an eyesore view when I am going to a place like Chamonix. The room should be used as storeroom. I could have been moved to another room as I have a fair point and there were available + my booking was not refundable.

The "swimming pool" was more like a big bathtube.

I liked the location and the staff were friendly. The sauna and the hammam are fine too.

The swimming pool is very small. The breakfast is not included in the price and is quiet expensive. The rooms were rather small for a 4 stars hotel. The hotel lacks some charm.

Service was excellence - the hotel staff were extremely obliging and catered to every need. The spa was lovely and we loved the extra home comforts such as a weather forecast and easter eggs in our room in the evening :)

The location is superb. The rooms are spotlessly clean & serviced twice a day. The staff are friendly, helpful & will go out of there way to accommodate requests.

The pool & jacuzzi area is very small & uninviting. Defiantly not the place to unwind after a days skiing. The rooms vary considerably in quality, size, & location yet the price for a deluxe twin was the same irrespective of the above. We had one 5th floor room which was stunning & one second floor room which was small, dark, and completely inferior yet both were classes as deluxe? If you want to use the stairs instead of the lifts then take a torch!

The room was very nice and comfortable.

For the money that was charged for the room, I would have expected the bed sheets and towels to be changed daily. The breakfast we had in our room was extreamly expensive for what you got.

Ventilation/heating is poor. Spa/hamam is far to cold. If you have the intention of having a Hamam typ experience then you need to listen to customers who find it cold. It does not do to inform customers that it is not cold. Poor service in the dining room / bar. Understaffed?

Nice and big room, very good restaurant, friendly staff

Spa is very small, water in pool cold, no restroom, tiny sauna. Hotel is modern and clean, but not cosy. Bus station is about 400m away, no shuttle available. Yes there is one close cable car, but the one without any slopes. All in all a little bit too expensive.

Comfortable hotel at a good location, with a very friendly staff. Good parking facilities. Very good kitchen, both in the bar as in the restaurant. Comfortable room, complete- but small bathroom (with not much place to put things).

Very poor Wifi; in the room hardly usable. Strong signal at the reception, which gradually gets less, and halfway the bar hardly any signal. Reported repeatedly during our stay, but no improvement. Annoying was that the complete restaurant & bar were closed for one evening without any pre-notification anywhere.

The hotel was not quite as 4* as we were expecting. The rooms were small and there was a separate toilet and bathroom which were tiny and awkward to get into. If there had been one bathroom, it would have been more comfortable. Central heating creaked all night :( TV signal kept breaking up. The pool in the spa would have been better if the water was warmer. The sound proofing was very poor (or the other guests were elephants!)

1. Rude staff! 2. We were locked out of our room for 3 hrs (could not get into our room until after midnight). 3. They had no record of where they had put our ski equipment (they had to open every locker to try and locate our skis) 4. Asked for a kettle to be delivered to our room - 3 days later it appeared! No coffee/teabags - just a kettle, cups & sugar. 5. Bar area was very messy (tables were not cleared) 6. €12 for a shot of Rum (say no more!) 6. Over priced @ £700 per night and I will certainly not be going back!

I was there for a wedding (so not skiiing) and the location was great. Friendly staff, and very helpful. Beautiful views

I was staying with a friend, and room was a bit cramped (superior twin), also room was not made up 2nd day we were there, as we happened to be in it in the morning when then came round. it was disappointing that they didn't clean it later in the day.

Elegant, cosy, modern hotel in a super setting with the old town close at hand and the mountains towering above. We received a friendly and helpful reception and enjoyed the cool bar.

For skiers with bulky clothing the rooms were a little small.

Frederic at the reception was very helpful and supportive, whatever request was: transfer from airport, skiing or heating in the room. Rooms are good: enough space, comfortable beds, seperate bedrooms. Restaurant is very nice with excellent service. Breakfast is good enough, plenty of fruits and pastry.

Small remark: there are no vegetables at breakfast at all. It would be great to have at least tomatoes.

The hotel was in a perfect location close to all the amenities if Chamonix. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional. The hotel itself was extremely comfortable and the rooms were great. The pool was great after a day out in the snow. Dinner was simply good art on a plate! Loved it, loved it, loved it! Dr Karen Robinson
