We were expected, not always the case with French Hotels. Hotel was well located near Town centre, so Bars & Restaurants were easy to walk to.

Location was excellent for accessing city Traffic can be very bad during rush hour, limiting access to hotel; parking is very poor, but lots of options in area

Pleased that on second visit we were upgraded to a larger room with very.good facilities. Non-functioning bedside lights were dealt with very efficiently. A pity that breakfast is expensive but good that excellent boulangeries are close as well as a nearby bar where you can get real coffee rather than the normal hotel provision. As we were in a hurry, en route to the Tunnel, this was helpful. Also having an outstanding Brasserie next door is a definite bonus for an evening meal. A pity that we were required to deposit our car keys with Reception. The rationale given for this request was very unconvincing. We felt it placed our car's contents at risk. Not every Best Western hotel makes this a requirement. We suspect also that the new tariff displayed for 2012 will deter many customers. Increasing charges to this level is the wrong way to attract custom or to deal with the challenges of the recession!

We statyed in Compiegne, fr so that we would be able to visit Chateau Chantilly. We were able to do that, but on the day we were leaving the city, there were demonstrations going on by civil servants, so we had to alter our route out of town. Our room was spacious, and even though it was near the front of the hotel it was quiet at night.

The front desk staff were wonderful and the breakfast service was absolutely delicious! I was able to get my WiFi connection up and running without any problems, as well. The hotel is very conveniently located within the town, in short walking distance to restaurants and sights. The beds are a bit low to the ground for my taste, and the room itself was quite dark - additional lighting would have been helpful at night.

Convenient for the town and local sites of international interest. Local restaurants are good. Overpriced for facilities. No kettle etc: in the room, you have to request from reception, provided you have found it in the extensive book of instructions, not being informed of it on arrival. Expensive for what is offered, then to add 13 Euros for breakfast makes an expensive stop after paying £104.55 for a standard room. On top of that an extra 10 Euros for parking!. The hotel was not very well operated, staff were under too much pressure, polite but some could do with a little training. Was significantly better about four years ago.

The suite we had was perfect with two good sized bedrooms and a sitting area. It meant that the children had their own room with proper sized beds. There was nothing wrong with the hotel other than a few minor problems in the room so just lacking some attention to detail in the housekeeping department.

I was expecting a bedroom with four beds in it so to discover that the family room was more like a suite was a very pleasant surprise! The garage was a bit difficult to get to and to get in to but it was off the road and very secure!

The suite was spacious. The view from the second floor was restricted by trees blocking a view to the river and nearby buildings. The breakfast buffet was limited and extraordinarily overpriced considering the simple spread which was offered. The garage was pricey as well as tiny with shallow clearance which may damage most makes of vehicles as the pavement scars indicated. Lastly, I wasn't impressed by the pealing paint and wallpaper in the rooms, especially for the price I paid for the combined services.

Convenience. Uncomfortable bed due to lack of bed headboard and big gap at that end. The bed was a fold up type. We felt exposed in the room unless curtains were fully drawn closed. Full length windows in room on a main street.

Room was clean and hotel easy to find Very disappointing as had stayed with best westrn many times. Had booked for two people but had a very basic appartment for six. Security safe not working, internet not working and no kettle in room despite horrible kitchen. Asked at reception many times but no success. Tried to change to a more comfortable room but not allowed. Will hestitate when booking best western again.

It is directly across from the main train and bus station, so it is very easy to find (But there is no bothersome noise coming from the train station). The rooms are clean and comfortable. Just some travel advice, don't stay in this town if your goal is to visit the castle at Pierrefonds. Bus service is scarce, stay in the town of Pierrefonds.
