clean good location for train to CDG
very tight room tight wee lift work going on internally. city tax.
Location, spacious, AC and clean.
Small lift and low lights in corridor.
The location of the hotel was great, though in district 14, you were only about 4in walk from yhr Eiffel Tower. We walked everywhere but the metro station is right outside the door. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the request for a cot was met.
When I was hoping the hotel I was looking for one with a lift (we were travelling with our two young babies in their double pram). The lift they had was small, large enough to fit 2 people but not more and definitely not a pram. A size indicator would have been nice. Also the hotel is dated and could do with work, the rooms were fine but the main corridors and staircase.p We slept well but the last night the people in the room next door didn't stop slamming doors and going in and out. Now my children were both asleep so I didn't mind but it highlighted how thin the door was.
Good location - near metro modern but small bedroom clean
hallways dark staircase refurbishing in process on arrival, after stepping off elevator at 5th floor, the small hallway was jammed with the maid's equipment so access to our room was difficult. Cleaning staff need training to accommodate guests - as I was paying my account, maid was pushing my travel docs out of the way so she could dust the counter that I was standing at.
One staff was very helpful "Alexander" and the others are rude
The staff were kind enough to let us leave the car for a couple of extra hours after checking out. Good selection for breakfast
There was some very dodgy wiring on the lamp plug with what looked like live wires exposed. The hairdryer didnt work and despite calling to reception a replacement or solution was not offered
V good location - close to metro lines V comfortable beds
Outside the rooms the hotel is very basic and quite small Didn't bother with the breakfast at €13 a head
Clean room and hotel and good position
Breakfast was poor and the hotel didn't have many facilities ie bar, resturant or good parking but we did know this
The hotel is well located. Going through renovation so very messy. This was not informed when we booked. The lift was out of primitive era, steps were very inconvenient. Staff was generally helpful. Location is good for metro, restaurants, post office & shops.
Stairs, lift, general cleanliness, renovation work not informed.
Location was perfect, metro station immediately outside the hotel, some nice restaurants on the doorstep so no need to go far for food. Hotel undergoing some refurb but not a problem like some of the other reviewers claim. Secure parking available which is unusual for central paris. Stayed in a family room which was two bedrooms with a bathroom and separate dunny.
Breakfast a little overpriced but other than that nothing to complain about.
Very nice rooms, they're all newly renovated. Air conditioning, great beds, spacious bathroom. There's also a safe in the room which is very convenient.
Wifi was terrible, barely worked the entire 5 nights we stayed. The last couple nights the air conditioning would only stay on for a few minutes... Very inconvenient as it was summer and very warm. Elevator is tiny. If you have a suitcase or backpack only one person can fit at a time.
The hotel for us represented value for money. We had a Family room on the fifth floor at the side of the hotel and we had an excellent few nights sleep. The room was in fact two rooms connected and whilst they were small they were perfectly fine for sleeping. The hotel had secure parking which was a must for us as we were driving on from Paris to our family holiday. There was renovation work going on at the hotel but our room was completed and spotlessly clean. There was a metro just down the street making sight seeing easy and it felt perfectly safe walking about in the evening.
For what we needed out of the hotel it was perfectly adequate and so no real negatives.
Recently refurbished ( there were builders still there but nearly finished) it's a super hotel for the price we paid. The 3 teens had a big room with large bathroom and they made sure our room was on the same floor. Our room wasn't huge but big enough. Beds were comfortable and fittings modern (maybe not to my taste but i don't live there and they can't please everyone!) staff were pleasant and helpful. The location is fab - the metro station is across the road and before we knew it we were in town. The hotels is in a really pleasant area with some fairly high end shops and great bakeries as you turn right out of the hotel. Lots of bars and cafés to sit outside of and soak up the local Parisian life. We came back from the centre quite late but felt safe in the area. My three discerning teens gave it the thumbs up and would use the hotel when traveling with friends. There is a secure car park that you can pre book and at €15 per day to know your car is off the street in Paris when you don't need it was great! We didn't have breakfast there but the cost seemed pretty typical. There are so many places to eat nearby though including one of the first deaf signing cafes in the world Cafe Signes - wonderful time there. The Catacombes are very close by too. For the price we paid for the five of us it was good value.
Everything was great. We had to take the luggage out of cat before parking it but really wasn't a problem - we were just happy the car was parked hidden away safely behind two gates up on the roof!
The room was lovely with stylish porcellonosa bathroom & toiletries and comfy beds
The rest of the hotel was stripped bare and noisy due to workmen drilling on stairwell and traffic noise 24 hours. Also parking not suitable for cars over 1.85 If you go after work completed it will be fine but not for next month or so :-(
Location and cost.
Renovations going on at the time and not told about them prior to arriving.
Atención del personal
Ambientes demasiado estrechos.
Close to Metro! Beds were clean and comfortable! But extremely close quarters for a so called triple room.
Staff for the most part was sullen and not helpful. Parking garage had parking spaces that were so small that even with a VW it was next to impossible to park and exit vehicle. Hotel had one (1) access key/remote for the garage entrance. Hotel elevator was smaller than a small closet and stairs were very steep and difficult to navigate. Upon checking out the hotel desk stored our bags for later pickup, but claimed that no reciept could be provided, however, when we picked up the bags each had a tag and the "customer" claim portion was still attached to the tag, (poorly trained and motivated staff). Hotel was either in the process of renovation or the result of a poor renovation. Foot prints on walls of hallway, poor paint work, and not exceptionallyu clean in the common areas. Although they indicate English spoke, I can only say not much.
Location 2 minute walk to train station to get around location is good lots of little cafes
The rooms were small with 4 people in the quad rooms. The sofa beds only just opened up into the room. Don't order taxi through the hotel as they charge more than double price as just flagging one from the road.
Very close to the metro station
Hotel under renovation so some of it was a mess. The room was nice and newly renovated.
bad connect of WIFI
The room was newly redecorated and very clean, and the bed were very comfortable for all 3 adults in our party. Breakfast was very good and had a nice variety of food selections.
The renovations were still underway and so the halls were very dirty and dusty, as was the "lift". There was barely enough room to walk between the corner of the king bed and the closet.
Everything except ...
The new room styling. Primary colors is not my favorite.
i liked the location of the hotel
i didn't like the parking system, the cleaning level and the staff attitude
Staff were excellent and really helpful
The toilet in our room was in what I would call 'a cupboard' so I could barely sit down to do my business as my knees were firmly against the door, I'm 5ft 9in. The room needs changing around.
The hotel just right infront of the metro station. The room was renovated. but seems that we are the first group in the room. And the bed was really comfortable.
The room was renovated. but seems that we are the first group in the room. i can also smell the painting. we had three room over there, one of them was too small that too hard to open our luggage. but others are just fine.
