Renovation a bit too modern, present owners could have left some of the "old world" charm of the original "Hôtel du Barbu" at least in the front building.
Be prepared to put up with the huge surrounding parkings and some bustle.
The location, of course, right opposite the Isle de Bréhat, a "pedestrian only" breton jewel.
The Isle de Bréhat is very popular and the "vedette" leaves right in front of the hotel, which is very entertaining as the landing point can be either right at the feet of the hotel terrasse or a few hundred meters away -- the tides are most spectacular at this point!
Very friendly personnel, good advice, super-clean hotel, excellent view (for the front rooms).
Good internet system, ample parking.
Spa small but very usable.
Restaurant is of very high standard and offers very good service -- we've had the best seafood platter ever, the "plateau royal".
