“ We used it for an overnight stop on the way from the Alps to Calais. The distance from the Alps was just enough for one days driving and it made it easy to catch a mid day ferry on day 2 of the trip. Also the proximity to the motorway made it an excellent location. ”

Clean and comfortable but really is in industrial zone. Stayed for one night (a Friday) and the restaurant was closed. Apparently only open Saturdays and Sundays and given the location of the hotel this is really poor.

Breakfast buffet was plentiful. Couldn't eat dinner onsite despite advertising that we could - staff gave no explanation. Terrible sleep quality - could hear conversations in other rooms word-for-word. Rooms extremely small.

Reasonable accommodation for the price, beds were comfortable but single bed was very narrow. Generally clean and functional for a one night stay en-route back home. Walls between rooms were paper thin so very noisy.

The way we were made welcome and breakfast was a treat. With my husband able to fill his travel coffee cup for the journey. Small bar a great idea too. No hair dryer in the room. No tea or coffee in the room.

the hotelroom was very clean. The lady at the reception very helpful and friendly. we were 3 adults in a 3-bed room and for 3 people it was really very small.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent. The room was comfortable, if a little small.

The Staff were lovely, and the location was perfect for the return leg of our summer road trip. Budget hotel, but even so very small room, not the most comfortable beds.

It was still available when I decided to find a hotel in the Champagne area - all alternative hotels were already booked The first room we were offered was dirty - black hairs on a pillow, clearly used by previous occupants. The other beds did not look clean, either. The whole room seemed not to have been cleaned after the last visit. We took the dirty pillow to the reception desk and asked for the room to be changed. At first our request was declined as, supposedly, there were no other 3-bed rooms available at the time. We were offered two clean pillows instead, kindly brought to our room by the receptionist. Then, we found a pile of garbage left in our room behind the door. After we had taken the rubbish to the reception suddenly a newly available 3-bed room appeared. It was reasonably clean. Unfortunately, the smell coming out of the toilet/bathroom during the night forced my wife to sleep with her nose burried in a teddy bear belonging to my daughter. My wife did not want to carry on complaining as it would, most probably, be of no use. The breakfast was nice, though.

The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was always spotless when we returned at the end of the day and the food was excellent considering the price we paid; excellent value for money. On the morning we checked out, there was a problem with the water supply to the room, resulting in a cold shower and then no water flow to the room at all (basins, toilet, shower etc..) Sadly we couldn't elicit the reason for this fault and no partial compensation for this fault was offered. Having said that the staff were genuinely sorry for this problem.

Location on an industrial estate some distance from the city centre, Lack of choice of places to eat during the evening. Small rooms and somewhat dingy.
