We have stayed at this hotel before and regard it as home. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. No complaints. |

Convenient central location and availabliity of on site garage. Large room and comfortable bed There was no lift and so suitcases had to be carried upstairs, the hotel was very old fashioned particularlyt the bathroom. The breakfast was poor I think we may have followed a group. The hotel was expensive for what was provided and certainly not up to three star standard. Staff were pleasnt but not very helpful., |

We had an excellent stay in the hotel, the meal in the bistro in the evening was the best we had in France, in fact for a long time, would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone, beautiful decor and perfectly situated. |

Right at the centre of the town. Close proximity to shops and restaurants. Beautiful interior (common area only) with lovely character building. However, the rooms itself was a little ordinary - just what you would expect from a chain hotel. Car parking fee was extortionate given parking is free after 7pm. |

Great location on the main square in town. Cheap overnight parking 50 metres away, behind building. Good breakfasts. Bar faces the square for people watching. Probably the best hotel in town, close to all restaurants and shops. Our room at the rear of the hotel was very plain, lacking the character of the beamed rooms on the web photos. The peach coloured bathroom fixtures didn't help. The window view was to the neighbours apartment 4 metres across the alley. Hotel parking was booked out. Probably a bonus, as access to the garage looked very difficult. No in room safes. |

Nice quiet room. Private parking available (useful when you arrive, but there is a free carpark a few minutes walk away). Good central position in town. Restaurant was closed Sunday and Monday eves. Breakfast selection was not very good value for money - there is a cafe 2 minutes down the road which provided what we required for half the price. Hotel states that free wifi is available in all rooms - not accurate! We had to use our laptop in the hotel reception or corridor. Suggest you ask for a suitable room if this is important to you. |

Not a lot apart from the cleanliness of the room, very impressed with that. Lack of information about facilities ie: tea, coffee in hotel room, available free of charge if we asked for a tray, instead we were charged for every cup of tea, not realising the difference. Staff were very off hand in the first two days, not pleasant at all. second roster had much better staff. Would not return to this hotel. |

Very central to old town square activity on an otherwise quiet Sunday evening. Also near to River Vienne and just below castle walls. Only that the restaurant was closed. Whilst expected often in France on Sunday evenings, had no indication it would be closed. Only a few eating places open on the Sunday evening. |
