Ideally located a 15 minute walk from the city center and the Arènes, this 3-star hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom, daily newspapers and tea and coffee making facilities.

Located an 8-minute drive from the centre of Nîmes, this 3-star hotel is ideally located 2 km from the A9 motorway. You can browse the free Wi-Fi or relax in the outdoor living areas.
Score from 396 reviews Good
Le Pré Galoffre enjoys a quiet, rural setting, a 10-minute drive from central Nimes. It has an outdoor pool and sun terrace and offers free Wi-Fi.
Score from 413 reviews Very good
Le Cheval Blanc is in the historic heart of Nimes, across from the Roman Arena and a 5-minute walk from Nimes Train Station. It has rooms with private bathrooms with air conditioning.
Score from 1033 reviews Very good
Very comfortable rooms. Pool looked lovely although we did not have the weather or time to try it out . Easy access to city centre. Nearby boulangerie very tasty and good value sandwiches.
Good Parking. Close to resteaurants
Pretty good hike into town
location and cleaness
WIFI too slow
the personel were very obliging
no restaurant, no air con on arrival to far away from the centre of nimes, to many mossies. out side very messy pool dirty.
The hotel was comfortable, clean and the staff friendly. Nice terrace on room ( though plenty of midges with all the greenery around). Wi Fi very good and no limits.
Breakfast a bit expensive for what you got. 20 minute walk to town. A hot drinks tray was available ( read this in the notes when we got there) but when we asked for one they had all gone. Why not put one in every room!!
The beds were very comfortable with good quality cotton sheets. The room was also very quiet - we understand the rooms are soundproofed. The staff on reception were very pleasant and helpful.
We had a "superior" room but it was still on the small side, though it did have French doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the garden. If we stayed here again, we should certainly request a "superior" room. It wasn't a pleasant walk into central Nimes, though it did take only about 10 minutes.
Quiet and comfortable with a fair size clean room.
Had to leave the hotel area to find a restaurant after a long days drive.
Bedrooms were fine; nicely furnished, clean and pretty much sound proof despite the busy road
Location is not the best if your are staying for a couple of days. Although a meal can be obtained on the nearby development its not really what most tourists would be seeking.Walk into town is almost half an hour and it's not the most attractive.
Very pretty. Very comfortable bed. Very good breakfast, but expensive!
would have been nice to be qble to drive to the door as there was heavy rain when we were there, and we had to walk with the heay suitcases on a n unpaved and flooded parking lot; at least 30 meters from the door. Would have also been convenient to have an elevator to get to our floor with the heavy suitcases. No offer of assistance was made. No aeration in the bathroom.
Location, setting, closeness to town centre and available parking.
It was clean and had nice bed linen
Location and local restaurants
The hotel was charming and the staff helpful. The room we had was small but comfortable, everything worked. We only stayed for one night as we had a flight to catch the following morning. There was plenty of parking and it was ideally situated for a quick get away to the airport, but also an easy walk into town for the evening. As recommended by another reviewer we used the boulangerie across the road for a quick, cheap breakfast as the E12.50 hotel breakfast seemed too expensive for a quick getaway. In fact the hotel offers an express breakfast for less, but we didn't notice this until too late.
If you have the window open the traffic is quite noisy. This did not bother us much but might annoy others.
This hotel is basically a Bed and Breakfast ( Chambres d'Hotes ) as I saw no evidence of lunch or evening meals. However that said the rooms were small but clean and well appointed. We stayed for three nights in August and the air-conditioning worked well. Its a 30 min walk to Nimes centre or 8 euro taxi ride. The pool is lovely and there is a sauna and hot tub also. The traffic is quite noisy near the pool but the rooms are well sound proofed. The staff are lovely and helpful. Breakfast is typically French, basic but good.
Noise of traffic outside
The whole thing works well
Breakfast room a bit dismal
To our holidays. Fab rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Same mix up over beds in the room as experienced in Germany but relocated without additional charge, unlike Germany. Nice breakfast.
It's a fair walk into the city centre and the Amphitheatre.
a very friendly staff, a small but good swimming pool to cool off, wifi working fine and free of charge, the jacuzzi was free but dirty (sand) , the local good (20 min walk to the centre of nimes) and important for travellers sufficient, guarded and free parking space...
the buffet is too limited to justify a 12,5 euro fee, the coffee machine was broken, we had to prepare our breakfast table ourselve and when something was empty (bread, eggs..) , there was no staff around to bring additional food. The bath has a shower but it is too short to get under if you are 1m85.
Quiet nice room. Fantastic boulangerie across the street- biggest we've seen yet in France. Interesting shower with stained glass & cute little wine bar at entrance. Overall nice place & Nimes is a great relaxing town with few tourists & great roman coliseum.
Nothing- nice hotel!
Nimes - An excellent place for a short break. If we return to this area I would book again.
We were very happy with everything. The hotel is well situated and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Hotel gardens/trees are lovely and the pool area is very pleasant. We found the staff very helpful. Very good parking facilities.
Pebble walkway from car park to Reception not good for pulling luggage.
Good location, very friendly staff, good internet, clean and comfortable rooms, and good breakfast. Liked the patio off our room and loved the wine bar on the hotel property. Good selection of local wines and they stayed open until 2300, so we were able to have some wine after dinner.
The only issue was the hot water in our room was a little temperamental at times. It wasn't a huge issue since it was summer and the weather was warm.
Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds and pillows, nice and relaxed atmosphere, good breakfasts, pleasant garden and pool area. Please be aware that hotel is located about a 15-20 minute walk into the town but the locality is good and the walk was part of our holiday - we enjoyed it but it may not be for everyone. All in all, it was a first class choice for our stay in Nimes
Everything was fine
Staff extremely friendly and always happy to help. A very clean, efficient and homely feel. It cost 6€ from the train station to the hotel in a taxi. We had a deluxe room highly recommended and comes with a pool view. A lovely wine restaurant on site. We have already booked another stay! We would definitely rate this higher than a 3* hotel. We also stayed in the holiday inn nearby, rated a 4* , hugely disappointed with the service and standard... Just Incase you are looking there- a big no no!! Looking forward to our stay again at the best western
Helpful and friendly staff Ambiance of hotel The pool and confortable loungers generous breakfast
cool showers on some occasions - this is high priority for attentionand we were compensated
