Nothing stood out, it was a break in a journey.

The place was a little tired.

Hotel and pool area oasis-like, Cava on grounds for wine and good light food.

No restaurant a bit far from the old town for some particularly at night.

Ignore the urban surroundings as you arrive, this is a lovely hotel tucked away behind walls and you will forget where you are..albeit you are minutes from the centre of Nimes which is a fantastic city. After 12 hours walking around the city the hotel was a perfect retreat.

The surrounding outside the hotel is all built up... But it doesn't matter once you are inside.

Good location, about a 10 minute walk to the centre, great wine bar in the grounds of the hotel, friendly staff and nice rooms which were clean and comfortable.

The room was quiet in spite of being close to a busy main road. It was also very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated.

The fire alarm going off at 03:50 in the morning. On making our way out via the nearest fire escape it was totally unlit. The fire escape staircase has something on it creating an obstruction. When we got outside the night porter told us it was a false alarm, but the noisy alarm was still sounding. when he finally managed to switch it off we went back to our room, whereupon the alarm sounded again. It was not until 04:40 did we get back to our room and could not get back to sleep afterwards. We thought the hotel manager should have attended the hotel as it was never explained to us what had set the alarm off in the first place (worrying). Although the guest information stated that complimentary tea/coffee was available from reception, we felt that the staff were perhaps not aware of this and gave us our tray reluctantly.

The hotel is conveniently located on the main road at a roundabout, and so easily found when arriving by car and new to the area. Free on-site parking is provided. It is close enough for walking into the city for sightseeing (approx 20-25 mins) in a place that is difficult for parking. The room, and hotel in general, was quiet and we had a balcony overlooking the pool and garden. Guests can ask for a tea/coffee tray for the room and there is a mini bar in the room.We had a lovely meal at the restaurant one night and walked into town for meals during the remainder of our stay. There is also a pizzeria and a patisserie across the road. We appreciated that the toilet was separate to the bathroom. The hotel provides very good wi fi service, and tourist maps and brochures were readily available.

There was no elevator for taking bags upstairs. We planned a second meal in the restaurant, but when we went downstairs we were told it wasn't open that night. There was nothing in the information guide in the room advising that the restaurant was not open every night.

The hotel was well designed and furnished, our room clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. To have car parking and such a pleasant shaded setting with a pool was a real bonus so close to the centre of Nimes. A very enjoyable short stay

Precious little. The surrounding area was not that good, but had the hotel been more central, other facilities like car parking etc would not have been available. The air conditioning seemed ineffective in the surprising 30 degree October heat and in our room we were bitten all over by mosquittos

The staff were excellent and the restaurant meals were very good.

Location, compassion and friendliness of staff. Lovely rooms with modern facilities. Excellent wine bar on site, with wine expert Arnaud to assist with all your needs.

Loved the decor and the furniture which made the hotel quite atmospheric. The hotel staff were also excellent and very helpful.

Lovely hotel just on the outskirts of Nimes. East to find, but quite close to historical centre of Nimes. Great rooms, nice garden and pool area. Excellent restaurant for both evening meals and breakfast. We were booked in for bed only, but they gave us a "demi-pension" offer to cover dinner and breakfast as reduced rate, no problem. Option well worth considering. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would most certainly stay there again and I would highly recommend this hotel and destination.

Outstanding room with large balcony overlooking the pool.A Great restaurant with a hearty breakfast available in the morning.The wine bar next door was terrific...knowledgable guy. We had a ploughman's meal which was sufficient as ameal. Great value.

I did not feel that the staff were very friendly...perhaps a language barrier.

La situation proche de la gare

les chambres sont très petites notamment la 22. la literie en 140 est peu confortable, le tout est vieillissant.
