Only the location. This was my first time in Paris and my advise for all the first timers in Paris will be: "If you are planning to spend an average amount as you do in all over Europe for a clean and decent hotel, don't expect to stay in a "hotel" in Paris". Because all you can get will be a hostelwise/pensionwise place to stay. And two little tips for the people who are planning to stay in Axel : 1. Don't accept to stay in rooms with ending 03. These rooms (except for the one on the 7th floor) are having window but all you can see is a dirty yellow painted wall in 1,0 meter distance. 2. If you will have two luggages you have to use the elevator one by one because it is impossible to fit in the elevator with regards to its funny size.

Receptionist Frida was very helpful. Location good so if you find a room around 100Eur thats fine, otherwise it does not worth staying there. The rooms, the lobby and the elevator (for on person!) was extremely small.

cleanliness of room, breakfast. Room and hotel size is tiny! We barely could fit our luggage through the hallway to our room and we did not have large luggage. Our room felt claustophobic like the halways.

The hotel was very clean and cosy, the breakfast was excellent, with a vast choice of food. The staff was very helpful indeed, patient and polite. The room was a little small, but it offered a very nice atmosphere. The beds are soft and very clean. It is a great hotel and we would certainly come back. The lift was small, but really fun to use. For those who do not want to use it, they can use the stairs. We had some problems getting there and that is why we'd like to explain the way of finding it. You must get off the metro at Grands Boulevards, then go straight ahead on Rue Faubourg Montmartre, and turn right at the Zazou restaurant. Then you will see it. If you have Internet on your cell phone, try to use Google Maps... We found this hotel wonderful and there are no important things we would like to complain about.

The person at reception had divided attention (she was more interested in answering the phone than assisting me) to the extent that she could not processed my credit card payment properly and then had the audacity to say that there wasn't money in my account. After getting angry with her, she paid attention to what she was doing and the transaction went through without any problems. It's a case of one rotten apple spoiling things.

The room was quite big as for Paris, well equipped and looking into yard (very quiet). The elevator is really tiny - not enough for two persons with backpacks. Very close to metro but I would recommend to print out the map in order to find the hotel easily for the first time.

Good location near tons of restaurants. Close to two different metro lines, which is helpful for getting around town. Friendly staff, decent breakfast and very good wifi - useful for looking up information on museums etc. Hotel room was clean and decently sized for European hotels. The bathroom was spacious, but the water temperature was not stable. Showering could be very difficult because 1) there was no shower curtain so water splashed everywhere and 2) the water would go cold then scalding hot then back down to cold in a matter of minutes. Very difficult to shower and at after the 4th day, it was just downright annoying.

An excellent location with a walking distance to many of the sightsees (ie. Louvre, Opera, Seine, sime churces). There are very good and reasonable prised restaurants in the neighnourhood. It is a very nice & cosy hotel, our room was clean and the staff very helpful. Highly recommended by us! The name of the hotel changed after I made the reservation from Best Western to Quality Hotels. It would have been nice to get some ingormation about it beforehand.

Location was excellent, easy to Metro & city trip. Room was clean & comfortable though a bit tiny. Staff were nice and helpful. We had moved to this hotel from other closeby hotel the second day of our stay in Paris and found this one is much better and satisfactory.

Good location Rooms very small. Bathroom very small. Elevator for one person! The brekfast room had about 10 tables, so we had to wait 10-15 min every morning to take brekfast. There was only one waitress to serve us all!
