Best Western Hôtel Continental  

Booked it as one of the few hotels offering twin beds. Excellent, large room, ensuite bathroom and toilet seperate. Nice food and very good staff. Best money value on our journey.

Didn't have a bar !!!!

Excellent breakfast. We were up-graded so really nice room.

Very noisy at night, kept awake from 2.30 am for about 2 hours by neighbouring room.

No ac in the rooms, a fan was provided but the noise running all night interrupted my sleep.Can't imagine how hot it must get in the summer

This is lovely hotel, situated close to all the sights in the centre of Pau. The hotel is beautiful on the outside and inside public areas have a slightly faded ornate French style. We have styed here on 4 occasions and each time we were given a modern refurbished room with a very comfy bed and good powerful shower. The rooms are all individual and on the upper floors they have views accross the city to the mountains. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. We have only ever had breakfast in the hotel and it was buffet style with plenty of choice. Well worth its 3* status

The hotel car park is very difficult to approach as you have to do a U turn into a bus lane to gain access. Some of the bedrooms are rather dated (still clean though) but I know that they are still in the process of upgrading.

We were very impressed with the staff at the front desk, especially Natalie. She was very courteous and very helpful in getting us around Pau and the neighboring area. Our trip was magnificent due to her help and attention to detail. We would gladly recommend this hotel to our friends.

The bathroom was quite small but we Americans are a spoiled in this regard.

This was our third stay here visiting my son who studies in Pau. We have never tried anywhere else because on each occasion we have been more than happy.The hotel is very central and everything in Pau walkable. The staff are very friendly and the rooms , many now refurbished with lcd TV's are clean and a decent enough size. At around 70 Euros its decent value for France although breakfast is generally not included ( check as sometimes they do have a special offer where it is ). The hotel looks a liitle worn from the outside but inside in the pubic areas its quaint. The place just has a nice relaxed and friendly feel to it. If you are looking for a really nice meal in a 'front room' style environement then I would recommend the Henty iv - been there 3 times too and at 26 Euro for a excellent quality 3 course menu with decent choices its great value and a really nice experience.

L'accueil du personnel. Lors de notre réservation, le petit déjeuner n'était pas inclus dans le prix. Après avoir reverifiee sur internet, la promotion avait change. J'ai contacté la réception et on nous a offert le petit-déjeuner gratuitement. Ce sont de petites intentions comme celle- ci qui fait qu'on se sent respecter. Merci a cette jeune fille.

La difficulté à pouvoir entrer dans le stationnement de l'hôtel. Avec les voies réservées pour les autobus, nous n'avions pas le choix d'y passer avec la voiture. Très stressant, nous sommes des gens respectueux des règlements et hésitions à le faire. Mais après 30 minutes à tourner autour de l'hôtel enfin on a réussi. La mauvaise insonorité de l'hôtel avec des murs de carton. Nous entendions les voisins parler, marcher. Le bruit de sèche-cheveux du voisin, nos faisait penser à on moteur se SPA. Ouf! Pas l'hôtel pour se reposer..... Dommage

Très bel établissement chargé d'histoire. Des chambres au volume impressionnant, atypique et attachant !

Un cachet unique. Un service de restauration très satisfaisant. Des chambres très spacieuses !

Proximité du centre ville, le fait de pouvoir laisser la voiture au parking de l'hôtel durant le séjour, la disponibilité du personnel font de cet hôtel un bon compromis.
