we enjoyed our stay very much the room was lovely with a view of the pool.The setting was stunning and fitted in well with the surroundings..We were very impressed with the reception staff who were very helpful especially finding us a place to buy wine on a sunday morning.All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Our only comment was, the service in the restaurant was very slow we waited 45 minutes before we got some bread then another wait for the appetiser.The wine was very expensive and the prices are not shown before you see it in the restaurant.Also the breakfast is a lot at 14 euros.Especially as we found a lovely breakfast for 6 euros.

A great place to stay in beautiful Dinan

Very friendly Very clean Good facilities, but some not available due to dates we stayed.

Beautiful location, excellent staff, reasonable prices and nice and clean.

Breakfast and dinner menu cooked food could be improved. Temporary rqadworks detract from enjoyment of location as well as good vehicle access to the hotel.

Alex on Reception took the trouble to email me about local road closures. Facilities in room good.

No soap provided; though every other need covered. Even Brittany Ferries give a good sized piece of soap per passenger. If only a fixed gel dispenser is made available at least put it within reach when lying in the bath. A great pity that no rooms face the River Rance.

This time I stayed in a new room 110 it really was very good well thought out with ultra modern fixtures and fittings ........luxury indeed ...the staff rang all of my contact numbers to tell me the bridge in the port was closed this proved to be really helpful ..........thank-you

Very comfortable place to stay while exploring this area of Brittany

Could have done with a second chair in the room. Would have appreciated English speaking programmes on the TV other than the two news programmes available. No shelf in bathroom for ladies to put their toiletries.

The helpfull Staff.

The reception staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The facilities, namely the jacuzzi and the outside pool, were excellent,and in themselves would probably encourage us to stay there again.

It isn't a complaint really, but I did feel that the breakfast, good as it is, is a little over-priced, as were the bar prices.

Dinan is a wonderful old town of two halves, the town and the port, and inbetween is one of the most attractive streets you could ever hope to find but, boy, is it steep?!! Where you stay in Dinan probably doesn't matter. If you stay at the top in the Town, there are more shops and plenty of life but you are bound to walk down the street some time. At the bottom of the hill and across the bridge is the Best Western Jerzual overlooking The Rance. Good position, excellent staff, ok hotel, average rooms, good parking but average value. Food seemed ok but the choice from the restaurants on the river bank opposite is wide and plentiful. Dinan is certainly one of the nicest towns in France and we are frequent visitors and enjoy the atmosphere and character of the place with its ancient buildings. We are bound to return, may even stay in the Jerzual again, so it really can't be so bad , can it?, But will check out other options first. Not many other choices though.
