Perfect location. Good breakfast. Staff friendly. Do not try to park in the city. Parking is located around the corner from the hotel. The staff will provide you the code for entry. Restaurant across the street to the left was very good. |

The Hotel was very well located in the centre of the medieval city. Breakfast was in a cosy room, was completely self service, with a good selection, and such a relaxing experierience. A great way to start the day! |

The staff were extremely helpful, the location was superb, our room was comfortable and the brassierie provided an excellent meal. On one occasion the maid failed to replenish the used tea and coffee, as well as not emptying the bins. Breakfast was also very bland and on 2 occasions there were no clean tables available at the time we went down. This didnt spoil our stay however. |

Location was the key. Ideally situated within the walls of medieval city. 2 minute walk to castle & plenty of good / excellent restuarants. |

The location was excellent, they even had parking available. Wifi was included, which it should be and I am pleased when a Hotel does so. Breakfast was extra, but was nice. We enjoyed our stay in Carcassonne - the views from our great. (#2) It seems that few hotels in France include breakfast, which is unfortunate. In November Carcassonne is very quiet but the hotel attended to our needs well and even upgraded our room. |

Excellent location for the money and very good good staff. Very organised, helpful and efficient. The rooms were not very big but this didn't matter to us. The hotel was very nicely decorated and fitted the surroundings. |

peace and quiet I thought that the allocation of tea, coffee and sugar sachets within the room was a bit stingy--- this is not a complaint. |

The central location in the cite was perfect Room was small with no mirrors apart from the one in the bathroom which contained one of those horrific blow things for dryers. If u left the bathroom door open and the window the room slats in the bathroom started banging and moving out of position. |

Its position within the walled old city was excellent. Minor gripe - but the hotel should have given us more information regarding its faclities, patio garden, restuarant opening times etc. |

This was off season so our rate we excellent for room and breakfast. We stayed in the main Le Donjon building. There is a fee car park outside the l'citi walls, but it is not secured. To get to the hotel there are certain hours you can drive in or out depending on the season. In the morning your car must be out by the set time 10 or 11. You can leave your luggage at the hotel and they will take you to your car in a tiny car. It all works. |

right inside the Citadel.. making it very convenient to explore le cite medieval. Although we did not stay in the main hotel, it was not an inconvenience at all. It is nice to take a short walk in the morning to get the the main hotel for breakfast. I would truely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Carcassonne. |

central location air con fixed at 21c rooms very warm so you open a window which defeats the object of double glazing . so you get woken up by the bin men who come very early |

We enjoyed our stay very much. The weather was just turning chilly for the first time and we were not very warm in our room as it was under the roof. We did mention this at reception but nothing happened. However we did enjoy the hotel. |

The staff at reception were excellent - especially one particular girl, but I don't know her name . . . . At one stage, there was a smell in the toilet, but this did not last long. I would prefer if the toilet area had a wash-hand basin as well. We did not have the breakfast, but at 12Euro, it seemed a bit expensive for what was available. A more extensive buffet breakfast would be better. |

One of the best thing about the hotel is it's location in one of the major European heritage sites. The fact that the rooms are comfortable and well appointed and that the staff are very friendly and helpful is an added bonus. All in all a very enjoyable stay. |
