The location is great, right in the heart of La Cite. The staff were all very nice and accommadating. The breakfast was excellent. The only problem with staying at this hotel is that one cannot drive directly there between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. If one arrives early and wants to keep the car in the locked facility, it means a shuttle trip in with the bags, and then another trip driving the car back in. The hotel does the best of what can be done with the limitaion of the prohibition of cars on the streets in the daytime, which by the way, I think is a good idea.

The interior of this hotel is outstanding. How lovley to see the use of natural stone and wood. We loved the whole feel of the hotel and to centred bang in the middle of La Cite was fantastic. To be able to drive through the streets to the hotel car park - we felt so privileged. Thank you so much for the whole experience!

It was very convenient to be inside the Cite. The food was ok and the accommodations were generally quiet. The only problem was the van to the gate took our luggage but not the people, the driver did not use common sense.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and professional. Breakfast was exceptional value and it's location is very central and a great base. The grounds very relaxing and whole hotel very clean. They looked after our bags when we were early and left late- no problems, sent our mail and organized breakfast when we arrived earlier than expected. The bath is super deep and relaxing after walking around all day and my wife really appreciated the separate WC in the room! The breakfast staff were also especially friendly and obliging. Everyone contributed to a special experience. The only thing I found uncomfortable was the heating- it was a little too warm for me especially with the very warm quilts and even after turning down the heaters but that's just me.

Location. Staff extremely friendly/helpful. Rooms nicely decorated and spacious. Our room had two windows and was very light. Toilet a bit small and rather smelly- no ex fan. Room smelled of previous occupants cigarette smoke. Parking arrangements difficult. Dogs allowed in the restaurant.

Located in the Medieval part of Carcassone. It is in a wonderful setting in the Old Town. It also has a touch of the past about itself. Reception staff were very helpful. We were upgraded at no extra cost, due to availability on the night (Sunday night in November). We will certainly stay again in this Hotel when we are using Carcassone Airport to access this part of France.

The location. We didn't like the layout of the room as the WC was so small it was difficult to access. The room was also far too hot and the air conditioning didn't work which made it difficult to sleep.

The location was excellent and the building old and romantic. Breakfast was good and the receptionist friendly and welcoming. We had to turn the radiator off in our room as it had a constant running water sound if turned on. The mini bar was virtually empty and there were no instructions on how to use the tv.

Once we found the hotel it was fine. The hotel is located inside of a walled city. You can not drive there. There are no directions outside of the city as to how and where to park. This information was not given by our booking papers. All we had was an address. The gps kept taking us into the city. We finally went to a hotel outside of the city and they told us how and where to park.

The location is excellent and the staff was nice, especially the girl who served at breakfast. The hotel is difficult to find even with a map of the city. Parking is kind of a hassle, although the staff was good about transporting bags to and from the car. The room was extremely small and the room was missing some items such as coffee for the coffee pot in the room. They did not pay much attention to detail in the rooms. It was hard to get into and out of the shower-kind of a dangerous design really. The coffee at breakfast was the worst we had anywhere in France. The eggs really were green! Great if you like green eggs and ham...Not so much if you like fresh eggs. The hotel was just ok overall.

The hotel gave us a free upgrade to a suite. This was because they were not full and the upgrade was excellent. The staff were wonderful in every respect and the location of the hotel in the ramparts of Carcassonne was spectacular.

Fantastic location in the middle of the old town of Carcassonne and very friendly and helpful staff. If you arrive during the day, a car from the hotel takes you directly from the main car parking just outside the old town to the hotel and during the evening/night you can use the private and secure parking of the hotel. Away for a nice weekend we thought we upgrade to a privilige room, but found it to be small and and sober. One painting on the wall, one small bar of soap and a shampoo dispenser on the shower wall. The room was not what we had expected. The public areas of the hotel however were cosy and nicely decorated.
