Best Western New York  

The location is very good, within easy walking distance of the promenade, shops and railway station. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

The hotel does not have a bar or restaurant facilities. Complimentary toiletries were left in the bathroom on arrival (small) but were not replaced when empty. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which we expected as standard. There was no safe in the room which meant valuables had to be taken with us.

Hotel was very well located. Near train station, tram stop, beach and busy shopping street. Room was very clean and well appointed. Bathroom was quite modern and very comfortable. Room was large in comparison to other in Europe.

Price of breakfast ! though at 12euro it appears normal. We breakfasted at the station buffet-excellent at 5.60 !!

The location was the best thing about this hotel. It was very close to nice central station. Therefore, travelling from the airport was very smooth, and travelling to other cities (ie monaco and cannes) was very easy!

The room was very comfortable, the reception staff was extremely friendly and efficient. The hotel was very clean, bathroom spotless. Location was excellent. Our room was quiet considering it was in the heart of Nice. We will definitely be using this hotel on a regular basis.

The only negative was that the cleaners didn't clean the coffee tray during our stay, neither did they replace the coffee or the tea. There should be plastic bags in the rubbish bins.

I chose New York for the location as the train station is only 10 mins walk away. I also wanted a balcony and got not one but two. The room was quite large too. It was spick and span and maintained on a daily basis. You could not hear a sound once your balcony door was shut as we were right on the corner of the main road. The female staff at the reception were especially nice and helpfull.

In general, comfortable room, and well located.

The receptionist that made us the check-in was quite unhelpful. We had booked a parking place, but there was no place for our car and he didn't mind about it. However, the other receptionists were really friendly.

One of the staffs is very warmful, but the other is not so polite. The facilities are good, with free wifi access, shampoo for hair and bath. The room is clean, and during the night it was quiet. The location is convenient for visiting seaside, old city and going to Airport, sncf & Bus station. It was comfort to stay there and it worth the value for money.

It wasn't written on the booking information that I have to pay 2 Euros per day for city tax.

Good location and breakfast facilities

The hotel is easy to find and centrally located. It is generally quiet at night. Staff are helpful with a good command of English. Situated on a main pedestrian street, the hotel is just a half block away from the tram which is 1 Euro to ride [ or you can get a general tram/bus/train pass for 1 day or a week at the stop. The hotel is near restaurants and right next to a large supermarket so supplies are easy to buy. It is also easy to walk to the beach, museums, markets and many other tourist sights.

The bathroom has a lovely deep tub to soak in, but plugs, once in...cannot be removed.[ You'd have to pry them out with a screwdriver/knife, etc. Water won't drain from the tub, once filled. In the tub/shower there is no anti slip mat or bar to hold on to...so be careful!!

Location. Clean rooms. Free wifi. Location was great. Near to city center. Hotel is very close to the beach-10 minutes. It is located in the center, so very close to shops,restaurants. Its sittuated on the main street,but the room was quite. Room and bathroom were clean. You cannot hear the noise from the street. Free WIFI-good signal. Good balance price and quality.

We were very satisfied about our stay at Best Western New York, you get value for money and the staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel is all right for a short stay and has a good location for shopping and for trips to other places thanks to the situation near the railway station.
