Like a lot of places in Europe – hair dryer is terrible! No power or any real heat. Take your own.
Elevator/lift is tiny but new and clean – be prepared to take the (clean, carpeted) steps if you’re in a rush.
Very few power outlets in the room – and none near the beds at all. That was strange and very inconvenient.
The building itself is older. We had 2 french doors in our (corner) room , one was already open, we opened the other to find it was literally falling off the hinges and barely managed to close it back up & didn’t try opening it again the rest of our stay!
They only have 6 parking spaces (about 14Euros/day?) - first come first served.
The location of this hotel is perfect – very central. Located on the main street, it’s a 10 min walk from beach or the train station, but the entrance is a little hidden on a side street. It’s right next to a supermarket and big shopping center and surrounded by cafes and shops on the high street.
Décor and cleanliness at reception are good – clean, new, modern, appealing. Hallways are wide, newly carpeted, clean & tastefully decorated.
The customer service from staff was hit and miss – 2 of them were excellent (Brazilian guy who works night shift (even helped us find the public parking structure late at night) & European girl who wears dark-rimmed glasses and is always very well dressed, day shift – didn’t get either of their names!), 2 others (middle aged man, woman with unkempt hair) could not care less about helping you.
The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. The beds were a good size and sheets/towels clean. Triple room has a double bed (an actual double bed, not 2 singles attached) and one single bed.
The TV has English language channels.
The rooms on the upper floors have (mini) balconies you can step out onto, but no space to actually have a table and chairs.
The wifi was ok, not terrible – but would cut out a lot. Sometimes only worked in the bathroom!
Soaps & shampoos were good, decent sizes – pretty sure they would have given us more if needed, but we had our own.
