Very close to almost everything you can imagine! Staff in the hotel were superb. Gilli at reception and Rose at Breakfast service. Such a lovely little hotel within walking distance of most attraction especially the Eiffel tower!
The only negative and it didn't Impact my stay was the dodgy wardrobe that needs the door fixing in room 43.
We had the family room and a triple. The family room was a good size, though very bright in decor. The shower had good water pressure and the bathroom was good sized. The location was wonderful, very close to metro stop! Staff was very helpful.
The triple room was small and should have been a double.
The staff at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices were good too, with hot food choices. But best of all was that it was 5 mins walk away from two metro stations, and 7 minutes walk away from my work location.
The wifi connection broke at irregular intervals, and did not support multiple devices (laptop, android phone) simultaneously. It would be nicer if housekeeping could be more regular.
Reasonable, no frills hotel. Good location. Staff friendly. Great to have tea and coffee available in the mornings.
Very friendly front desk...more than willing to go out of thier way to help get us in the room and back out the door to tour the city! Also more than willing to store our bags on the last day prior to us going to the train station that afternoon!
Friendly, helpful staff Excellent, convenient, safe neighborhood Very Close to metro station
great location and breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Ill stay here every time I visit Paris if it stays reasonable.
small rooms with worn furniture staff not very responsive expensive
The hotel is a short walking distance to Rue Cler, a nice area with good choice of restaurants. It is also a manageable walking distance from the Eiffel tower. The front desk people I interacted with were all friendly and assisted me with airport transfers. I waited a couple of hours after checking out in their hotel lobby and it was quite comfortable as wifi was free and the front desk guy even brought me coffee and biscuits.
The room was cold initially and I didn't know that the a/c does not control the temperature (I was told this only works during the summer). Thankfully, someone came up to my room to fix the heater which was hidden behind the curtain as it turns out.
The comfort of the beds, the friendliness of the staff and the location.
The Wi-Fi was very spotty. Was up and down all the time.
The bed was large enough to fit both of my young kids w/o hassle from the staff. The location was about 5-10mins from the tower in one direction. 5-10mins from Port Alexandre and Champs-Elysees in the other direction. No vendors on this street, but plenty of cafe's, restaurants, and grocers. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel comfortable. the young, Black gentleman (I'm sorry can't remember his name) did a great job in feeding us info and recommendations. The Dominican (Jonathan) was expeditious in the payment process. The bed was extra comfortable and my hubby is picky when it comes to beds and pillows. free wifi :-D 1 block from parking
Of course it's a big city and therefore not their fault, but having to park a block away could be much for certain families. Bring a backpack for travel instead. The beds were huge, but the room was small. Again, big cities...not their fault. No air option in the fall/winter so we were soaking in sweat w/o the window open. expensive parking. almost 40euros per day. expensive breakfast for a European breakfast.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable, the location is amazing and the bathrobe provided was just what we needed after a hectic day seeing the beautiful sights of Paris.
Staff were always cheerfull and helpfull with suggestions for sightseeing and eating nearby.
A small hotel that prides itself on service....the staff in general were very pleasant and the front desk people helpful, one (Ylilli - spelling?) of whom was outstanding. Location was quiet, but absolutely perfect for getting to and from most of the Parisian sightseeing highlights with a variety of restaurants nearby. Room and ensuite were spotless and the bed comfortable. Breakfast room is quaint and the food good.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We were in a family room, it was very clean and every thing worked. The beds were comfortable and the shower was powerful. Our teenage kids were overjoyed with the wifi. The location was perfect, easy access to metro and several key sights on foot, wonderful bakery nearby where we breakfasted and excellent reasonable priced restaurants. I would definitely recommend and we would return to this hotel.
The hotel was so good So I am just being picky but the bathroom was an odd shape however saying that at least the toilet was in a separate stall which was helpful. The room was on the ground floor and although the bathroom window was frosted we used the curtesy bathrobes while standing at the sink because I was concerned we might be visible when the lights were on.
The friendly staff
Food quality was good Staff are very helpfull
The breakfast area was too small and Claustrophobic Lifts are too small
The rooms were too small for a 4 star property and am surprised how this got a 4 star rating as it is more comparable to a 1 star property like IBIS. The lift is tiny and in the morning, it is a torture where you have the room cleaning staff occupying it almost all the time. The room is made up after 4 PM as they are busy cleaning the check out rooms. Unless you are desperate, it is better to look at other properties and for the price I paid, I expect much better facilities.
good location - you can walk to almost everything. Lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood, and close to the Metro station. We took the Train in from Germany, hopped on the Metro and got right to the hotel. Nice little courtyard to sip wine and we were the only ones out there most of the time.
very small rooms and bathrooms. WiFi didn't work well
Excellent helpful and friendly staff Position is excellent close to many restaurants, buses, underground, and a small supermarket just around the corner.
No fridge, smallest lift in the world Two people and two suitcases did the job though
Friendly staff good location
We enjoyed our stay. Close to Eiffel tower. Older building but in safe area of town. Friendly helpful staff. Daily buffet breakfast. Close to bus, metro and trains. Has a charming atmosphere and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Very small rooms. This is typical in Europe. One lift which barely held two people. Not really noisy but you could hear slamming doors and next door television.
The smell was unbearable! The elevator smelled of smoke and the towels and bedsheets smelled as if they hadn't been washed in years.
The staff was wonderful. Always helpful and courteous. Their breakfast was very good. Liked the "smaller" hotel feel. Room was very clean and bathroom very functional...good lighting too. Room was a bit small but that was expected in Europe. There were 2 luggage racks so suitcases were off the floor. We could walk everywhere that we wanted and the REM was handy for longer treks.
