The location was a 5 minute walk from Republique metro station. WiFi was free.
There wasn't a door on the bathroom, The bedroom was far smaller than appears in the pictures available, there was no wardrobe, not all the windows opened, the bathroom was disgustingly dirty, the heating and hot water was unavailable for half a day. Considering how expensive a room per night here is it is crazy how poor the standards here are. Despite saying on the website we didn't want to pay until the arrival, our credit card was charged on booking for the first night anyway.
+location +staff I mean was ok, we got the room cheap probably because of the season, we paid accidently more but staff was honest and gave us our money back, location good metro, cafe, bakery, bank, supermarket all close to hotel, wifi was perfect. If you are looking just a place to be safe, sleep for like max 3 days and not spend any time at hotel like us thats the hotel you are looking for. Good for students. +TV. +Hot water +relatively clean. 24h reception +shuttle service
-After 23.00 area not safe. -Bed was very old and had only one old blanket. -stairs lots of stairs! if you have bags will be really hard to get them to your room. -just old, used and basic things in the room. -noise from the street. If you plan to spend more days in paris I will not recomment it.
Good location with metro just right beside.
Whoever carries heavy luggage, better avoid this as no lift provided in the hotel.
the location was perfect
Steep stairs! no lift, they are unconfortable to carry the baggages. no breakfast available
Staff is really helpfull and friendly, Adam is great!
hairs on the bed
Location. Right across the street from the metro. Close to lots of cafes and restaurants. Good hot water and pressure in shower.
Slummy hotel. Tight rooms. Carpet soiled and stained. Bathroom sink so small you have to stand sideways to look in the mirror (to shave).
where do I start. Bed was a king size single. Collapsed in middle Smell of damp. Tried to clean room before checking out then told us not to use bed before checking out. Towels were manly Do not use this hotel . Booking .com need to remove it. I want a refund I have used backpackers in third world countries that were cleaner and better than this DO NOT USE
Very Well locasted, 50 meters from metro Station, line 5 and less than 1 km from another metro Station, with different lines. This is definetely convenient, as Well as the restaurants and markets close to the hotel.
Matress in very poor condition, no heating in the room, as it was hot that was not a Problem but If you Travel in winter that is sth. Very important.
Recommendation to other travellers would be location was good
The double bed was a king single not suitable for two persons
Good location right next to the metro station
basic room with nothing additional, besides TV: No tea/coffee facilities in room No shampoos, etc in bathroom Very small shower
only wi-fi was acceptable
everything is primitive i this hotel ! Bathroom in very bad condition! Bed terrible! Very loud because of the noise of Bvd. Magenta
The room was small and dusty. There were no bedside tables in the room, no mirrow in the room. There were 1 mirrow in the bathroom ( no plug) and 1 in the small corridor ( no plug) Couldn't use the hair dryer. The towels were very old and that smell of bleach . No ceiling light only wall's lights( full of flies ). We complained but they didn't care. We were offered the room with terrible smell and single bed( 1st room) , as we weren't happy with that we got that room. The receptionist wasn't helpful as he said we had to stay in that dirty room as we can't cancel our booking. I wanted to speak to manager and he said he wasn't in Paris( outside country) and we can't complain to him. There were no glass in the room if you want a glass of water. Never saw hotel like that. Horrible place.
Location is nice: just in the front of metro station and within walking distance from Republic square and Gare du Nord station. Reasonable price. Small rooms but it's ok for night stay. Helpful staff.
No elevator. Steps are very tiny and uncomfortable to move upstairs, especially with big suitcases. No breakfast facilities. Noisy room.
not much at all besides the view of the outside world
just about everything else. i have been going to Paris for business for the past 30 years let me just say that the back of the hotel's door posts the maximum price of the double room ( which I took even as a solo traveller ). this was 110 Euros, which could have been increased by 20 Euros for high season. I paid 191 Euro a night. i would call this quite simply a rip off. The room was probably worth 90 euros a night. unless I receive a valid explanation and a partial refund from booking.com, I shall stop using their website and advise my friends and colleagues accordingly.
near of metro, can be adecuate option for Paris
Standar in Paris is awfull, not hotel quality and so expensive. For this money is posible 10 day in luxur hotel in every place of the planet.Paris is not a option for holidays, and confort. In general all is dirty, rooms and atmosphera is full of misery, but this hotel nearly a metro, could help
no lift, poor furniture, old bedding, there was no wifi
Location. Ideal area to get to main tourist sites. Also metro right outside. Loads of places to eat and drink. We found staff helpful. Ideal place to base your self if your young couple trying to do paris on a budget.
Found it difficult to locate property when first arrived, luckily spoke to a local who directed us. Room smelt damp and there was no window in bathroom. Double bed was very uncomfortable and the room was lacking basic facilities such as chairs and tables, hairdryers ect. Shower looked grubby especially shower curtain and shower head. We were located on main street which was quite noisy day and night. The area itself was hit and miss. A number of people we saw begging or sleeping on streets,
The Hotel is very close to the Metro Station. The Staff was freindly and helpfull. Wi-Fi working well.
Mattresses were uncomfortable, despite of we are thin people. The room was depressingly simple. Soundproofing working well with closed windows, but the street was very noisy, so summertime with opened windows street noise can be a problem also.
Location was good
The carpet was dirty, bedbugs on the blanket and bed. I informed a staff member in the middle of d night, he said there was nothing he could do. I could not sleep through that night bcoz I kept on thinking about the bedbugs. My bedding wasn't changed for two days, stairs were very narrow. It was the worst hotel I've bn
The staff were very friendly and the internet was great. Great location and easy to find, we used Google maps directions.
No door for the bathroom, but the doorway opens onto the hall of the bedroom so you aren't really exposed. Shower curtain doesn't stop water from getting all over the floor of the bathroom.
location - metro literally across the road
very basic amenities no elevator
Location! Basic things worked well Comfort and clean enough
No toilet door No wardrobe Narrow stairs, need effort to carry luggage
