Excellent value for money, location right on the beach (accessable straightthrough the bar), very quite, comfortable bed, great steak & frites right across the road, close enough to the city centre without the hassle of going intra-muros No shower curtain in the bath/shower ?? Careful with the shower or you'll flood the bathroom

Although in refurbishment didn't deter from a great stay, but what makes the hotel stand out is it's location on a great expanse of beach and the friendly staff The entrance a little dark but this is only during refurbishment

Clean room, nice bath, we had view on the see for only 40 euros pp. Did not expect that.. Breakfast could be a bit more for the 11 euros pp we paid

Staff all very nice. Lobby was undergoing renovations- did not hear a thing. The location was a short walk to town ( which was great!!) but if not up for the walk a few places nearby to eat. All in all I knew we were visiting in the off season, so I thought it could have felt like a ghost town, but it was nice, warm, clean and on the beach!! I would absolutely return. The bathroom smelled a little funny- but I think that was just due to the off season & it being seaside. Once we opened the door & showered once it was fine.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and for the price we were very impressed. Our room looked newly renovated and we had a lovely bathroom. I would recommmend this hotel to everyone They do not provide china cups - only disposable paper ones and so if you want a coffee and a tea you have to ask for more cups. A very little niggle!

A beach front view was available, and the location was relatively close to the walled city of St Malo and not far from the train station. Also, several brasseries nearby, as well as a supermarket. Bed was too "firm". This is a common feature of hotels booked on this trip.

Location is good, you can walk on the beach and also walk to St. Malo intra-muros. We chose St. Malo for 2 nights because it is close to Mont St. Michel. This hotel in modern, it has an elevator, the room was large and clean. Beds were a bit hard.

We wanted a hotel close to the sea rather than close to the centre. And that is what we got, You couldn't get any closer to the sea! We looked out of our window, there was the promenade and then the beach. Even the breakfast room and bar has the same view. Just what we were looking for. Perfect. There is plenty of choice and amount for the breakfast, even though it is continental style. The centre is still only 1km from the hotel, a 20 minute ish walk. If anything the only negative about this hotel is it is a bit tired in places. Some of the woodwork on the stair areas could do with a touch up. But these are areas that would get the most battering from luggage.

I loved the location. The views of st malo and the sea were fantastic from the rooms with a sea view. I loved the extras, the kettle, the flip flops etc We were on the fourth floor and the room was tiny considering the price we were paying. We didnt get to see the fitness room cause it was only open for a few hours.

Room good size This is not a family orientated hotel, we asked for something for our 6 year old child but instead of apologising to us for not having it, we were asked if we knew we were in france, The receptionist was very rude and when I asked to speak to the manager, she said she was there earlier but has now gone out. If a customer is not certified with services, then they can at least apologise but would not go back there. Staff need to go for training on how to handle customers

Fabulous position; lovely welcome; very clean; but the best thing was the view. We spent ages sitting (or in fact lying in bed watching the waves) with occasional forays to the bar, resturants, to get some wlaking in, and swim. Perfect relaxation, despite the weather being not so great. Price - too expensive. But they can sell the rooms so people are prepared to pay it. A bit far out of town - ok as it didn't rain much but would have been a problem with heavy rain.
