Kyriad Hotel Saint-Malo Plage  

We love using the Kyriad for our sleepover before we get the Ferry back to Portsmouth in the morning. We have a good breakfastand rest and are ready for the journey home to Bedfordshire. It is virtually on the beach

The hotel was going through renvoation which they failed to mention on booking. The rooms were poor value for money in my opinion 224 eur for a one night stay for my family (children aged 6 and 2). There is no evening meal available so you have to leave the hotel to eat adn there are no facilities for families at all. The taxi cost from the ferry terminal to the hotel was also expensive at 15 Euro each way.

Although in refurbishment didn't deter from a great stay, but what makes the hotel stand out is it's location on a great expanse of beach and the friendly staff

Very friendly hotel and made you feel welcome ,excellent breakfast,and clean comfortable rooms.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and for the price we were very impressed. Our room looked newly renovated and we had a lovely bathroom. I would recommmend this hotel to everyone

They do not provide china cups - only disposable paper ones and so if you want a coffee and a tea you have to ask for more cups. A very little niggle!

A beach front view was available, and the location was relatively close to the walled city of St Malo and not far from the train station. Also, several brasseries nearby, as well as a supermarket.

Bed was too "firm". This is a common feature of hotels booked on this trip.

Location is good, you can walk on the beach and also walk to St. Malo intra-muros. We chose St. Malo for 2 nights because it is close to Mont St. Michel. This hotel in modern, it has an elevator, the room was large and clean.

Beds were a bit hard.

We wanted a hotel close to the sea rather than close to the centre. And that is what we got, You couldn't get any closer to the sea! We looked out of our window, there was the promenade and then the beach. Even the breakfast room and bar has the same view. Just what we were looking for. Perfect. There is plenty of choice and amount for the breakfast, even though it is continental style. The centre is still only 1km from the hotel, a 20 minute ish walk.

If anything the only negative about this hotel is it is a bit tired in places. Some of the woodwork on the stair areas could do with a touch up. But these are areas that would get the most battering from luggage.

Room not very clean, facilities tired, huge investment needed.

It was a great location. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly and helpful. The family room worked really well for us and was bigger than we were expecting . The jacuzzi bath was a real treat . we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The only weakness was a lack of secure parking
