The owner is absolutely delightful and couldn't have been more helpful. The boat is a converted barge and is clean and organised - not James Bond luxury! Loads of hot water. In a lovely setting by the Ile St Germain, we had fun exploring the local suburbs. Close to tram stop (250m).
Not an issue for us, but wouldn't probably be suitable for people with impaired mobility. Using the bathroom and upstairs terrace in particular might be a problem.
We enjoyed the uniqueness of the stay. The owner is a great host.
The entry to the boat could use a little upgrade. Repair the discharge of effluent from the boat.
It 's a great formule! Better than an hotel. Verry friendly owner. Not that far from the old center of Paris with "le metro". We had a short (2 nights) great time!
We enjoyed being on the river. It was a very original way to stay in Paris! Price was certainly reasonable. This is not a luxury hotel! It is a boat. That is the draw. We loved it. Three adults and an 11 year old.
The wifi was spotty but that was true all over Paris unless you were willing to go to McDonalds or pay for access somewhere else.
Location was OK - although it was on a busy road with noisy road works / building site Bed was comfortable. Owner was friendly, but a little disorganised.
The Kitchen / galley was dirty and very smelly. Toilet and shower room too small. arrangements for getting to the accommodation fro the road.
