Breakfast room was clean, staff pleasant enough. Just off the motorway so good location to travel around. Although on a industrial estate.
Rooms very basic no coffee tea facilities in the room. Very much like porter cabins toilet/ shower room like a caravan closet. Hotel in the middle of a industrial estate. Breakfast only toast and cereal no real choice. No bread on a Sunday morning. Duvet on the beds were very thin 2 small single duvets in a double cover so moved around inside and wasn't suitable to share. Wasn't as viewed on the website. Walls very thin you can hear everything from neighbours up and both sides. Ideal for a single traveller just wanting a bed for the night but not suitable for couples.
Clean and compact rooms. Bright breakfast room. Adequate breakfast choice
Not being able to check in at any time of day - beware of this!! Being in an area with NO surrounding facilities, ie restaurants etc This hotel is actually a motel really and would be fine as a stopover en-route somewhere (as an easy get-off the main road) but not as somewhere to stay for part of a holiday
Sleeping so close to this easy to find Hotel, we had the most relaxed stay in a nice, clean, pleasant and realy good sized room. And we were surprised how quiet it was. Next day a breackfast in the little garden and in 1 minute back on the highway again. We will come back for sure!
Good hotel if you need just to spend nights there. Good personnel ready to help. Free parking, nice breakfast.
Hotel location just lets you to spend nights there. You will not see anything interesing aroung apart from the trucks parking and the road.
Convenience of location
Very expensive for very basic facilities and and very cramped room. Because we went out to eat there was no-one on reception when got back at 9.30 pm. They only provided 2 pillows for a booking for 3 people. Not good wouldn't use the hotel again.
It is not what the adverts describe. It is more of a hidden truck stop. Clean and friendly enough but not a tourist hotel.
Breakfast was dismal. Staff memeber on duty for three of the days was completely overwhelmed by the number of guests and not able to speak any other language than French and there were guess of many nationalities. One staff member was very helpful but only there for day one and the last day of our stay. Location was not as represented on website. It was 15 kilometeres not 3 from the venue we were attending. It is in the middle of an industrial area, actually I wold say it is equivalent to a truck stop motel in the states.. All in all a little disappointing that they seemed unable or unwilling to adjust normal activities to deal with the influx of people from many countries that were there for the World Equestrian games. .Other than tripling the room rates. Particularly breakfast was really poor. Including running out of food. So not french or European in general.
Cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. There was everything you would need and a pleasant restaurant next door for an evening meal. It is used mainly by truck drivers but it makes it all the more exciting. Very reasonable price and nice breakfast.
Nowhere to walk to as the hotel is in the middle of an industrial area but do you need that for a stopover?
Handy brasserie in front of the hotel. Helpful staff (assistant came to help us open the door at 22.30). Small hall before the room which helped isolating the rooms from noise and cold temperature.
close to highway
strange bathroom arrangements odd tobacco like smell
didnt stay long enough to find something i liked
everything else, worse hotel ever, people didnt understand a Word of english, including when i asked for checkout... seemed crazy to me that a receptionist didnt understand 'check out'... room is suitable for max one person even though they sell it for 3... bathroom is actually a shower cabin with toilet added and sink is where closet was supposed to be... theres not even enough space on the floor to put a suitcase there, theres no phone although it says there should be, and internet connection sometimes Works and sometimes doesnt. I couldnt belive they call it a hotel, its a highway motel for overnight stays, and thats stretching the term to the max
clean, helpful staff, been using this hotel for a number of years has improved a lot this last year new owners are making lot of improvements
Cheap, clean, easy check in at 10:30pm
No towels, no staff.
- large room - quiet
Helpfull staff and price
Good size room for the price.Bed had a good firm matress.
As usual in hotels of this catergory only one thin pillow. We didn't like the fact that the shower and toilet are in the same space and the wash hand basin in another area.
The price and that only.
It's a trucker's motel. Just a crash pad for exhausted truckers - which escaped my attention in my excitement over price. My family is still making fun of me. Very small and in a terrible location unless, as I say, you are a trucker and even then, you might end up back in the cab of your truck.
2 mins off the motorway, but not noisy. next door was a fantastic restaurant. staff very helpful. lovely breakfast. rooms small but ideal for overnight stay.
Good location & quiet
Reception not opening until 5pm; is quite a late checking in time
It was very good value for money as we just needed somewhere to stay the night on our drive to the Southwest. It was clean, the staff were friendly and although basic it was what we needed.
Room was very compact. Barely room to move around the bed. The shower room/toilet was a plastic capsule which we found very odd.
very helpful and friendly manager big bed bar/restaurant nearby the room was cleaned daily & fresh towels left
the mattress was too hard - aching backs in the mornings!
Value for money.
Clean n comfortable
Very clean basic accommodation
Prices hiked because of d day celebrations but everywhere was doing it as well.No hot food for breaker
