- location: nice old narrow Paris streets, easy and quite fast connection to city center, nearby tourist attractions - very good value for breakfast (for 8eur we got huge mug of coffee or tea or cocoa, croissant and short baguette with butter and jelly and glass of juice) - comfy bed - we were there in November, but I imagine it would be very nice to rest your feet on the balcony in the summertime (though view is to the street)
- most disturbing was street noise, we stayed at 4th floor at corner room and truck noise started every day at 5.30 and did not stop. - bathroom was cold, I couldn't be there barefoot, because the floor was cold, while outside temperature was around +6 (Celsius). I stood on a towel :) - I had read that walls are thin, luckily no one disturbed us, but I am sure that walls are quite thin there. - only one drinking class in the room
Convenient location for travelling
Tiny toilet in the back corner of the hallway.
good location..walking distance to metro station
poor wifi.. small bathroom.. fairly clean room after all..
Location was great, off the loud street but only a 3min walk to metro stn. Great places to eat literally out the door and for a couple of blocks in both directions. Great stay
WiFi wasn't trusted on my phone.
The bed was good and comfortable. Was a bit scared for bed bugs reading previous reviews, but fortunately it was clean
Room has no bathroom, and the shower cabin is standing in the room. Had to open the windows immediately as the room was really foul smelling. Considering a rate of €110 per night, the hotel's pretty overpriced
Wonderfully located, with clean and warm rooms
All is old, no wardrobe in the room, looking as an old Soviet health resort, if you understand what I mean
Newly refurbished room Balcony Wifi
not 100% finished on the refurb - bathroom had no door handle or extractor fan. Wires for extractor fan sticking out of hole in the wall. Entrance and stairs - poorly lit and decorated.
the "hotel" was undergoing renovations. as it was the weekend the works were stopped, but my room was literally full of holes. no lock on the bath door, and found a couple of Xanax pills on the room floor, hinting deficient cleaning.
Nice hotel if you want to stay in Montmartre but ...
No elevator (if you're on the 5th Floor ...), quite noisy (new rooms and windows but still ... had to sleep with earplugs). Very basic breakfast with not so good coffee.
Location, relaxed atmosphere. Very good size room and clean in room, with facilities.
small shared loo with loo paper thrown outside the window. Didn't use the shared shower downstairs.
Such a good location in a great area of Paris.
street noise, paint smell
the hotel is in a great location, away from the hustle and bustle of central paris. it was a 30min walk from gare du nord and a 5min walk to moulin rouge. the area has plenty of resturants, cafes and bars. we were on the forth floor, had our own private ensuite with a great shower and toilet, we were also lucky enough to have a balcony and a tv. room was cleaned everyday. staff were friendly, they even had a place to store luggage once we checked out on the last day to still explore before our train home.
there wasn't too much wrong, as we were on the forth floor there was alot of stairs, we liked the exercise but it would be difficult for other people. there is a pub across the road (great place to get have a drink and some food) so it can be a little bit noisy at night time, however with the windows closed it does block out most of it. we also found the hotel is under renovations at the moment, we were missing a handle on our bathroom door, but you can tell they are doing alot of improvements so would be great to see how it is once it is all completed
I AM SORRY , to be frank, this hotel must not be mentioned on booking .com . Never. I invite you to make a visit. Yes it was a horrible night . I am your client from more than 5 years . It is my first deception and I hope it will be the last .
- Plumbing problem : leaking water 19/06/2014 - No elevator :I am 60 Yrs old I had to climb with my luggage 4 floors - No toilet in the room - no TV IN THE ROOM - No Tel in the room - very complicated to reach
Charming room with a window that opens out onto a cute little street. Room very clean and safe
Toilet was cramped. Bar on the corner across the street so if you are not a fan of noise into the evening it's not the place for you
Nothing in particular
It was in a position close to transport & good restaurants. It was nice & quiet with a good view. Room was basic but that was ok for us.
This is not really a dislike - but may be for some - we had a top floor room (5th floor) with lots of stairs. Carrying the luggage up was a bit hard, but we enjoyed our daily exercise up & down the stairs :)
