The hotel is excellent. The location of it is perfect: 5 min from train station and about 7 min from the Capitole square. We are from Russia and in the hotel we've find not only English-spoken staff, but also Russian-spoken one. It helped us to orient in the city more quickly and to see there more. Very careful, pleasant person. The bedclothes are white and pure. The only one thing was not excellent, but good: the Internet in the first of two evenings was slow (I can't to enter account of gmail.com in standard mode, only in html-mode). Finally, I'd like to recommend this hotel to other travelers and I will stay here again with pleasure.

The Bed was comfortable, thats the only positive. The location was in a very seedy area full of undesirables,retro bates tramps and prostitutes,I would describe this as a hostel for backpackers not a hotel, had the been a fire there during my stay no doubt we would have been killed,I would not recomend this dump to my worst enemy it definetly was not what it said on this website.

The hotel was clean, nice and cheap. Interent was available in the room for free. It's very centrally located (5 min from the Matabiau train and bus stations, 10 min from the Capitol - all be feet!). The surroundings are not so frightening as they are described here. We left the hotel at 10 pm and returned at 1am, and we didn't face any hazard. We've seen a police car nearby, but that was more like good than bad.

Cheap stay for under 100 usd per room per night. Definitely not for kids with alot of strip clubs near by. Urine smell in the streets and 75 year old hookers on the street corner.

Good value for the money. A very small, but mostly clean room. Wireless internet free of charge. Buffet breakfast is OK, but expensive (9 EUR). It's close to the city center, metro etc. The hotel staff was nice and polite. If you need a cheap decent bed for a couple of nights, this hotel will do. As other reviews said, the neighborhood is dodgy, full of homeless people and prostitutes. The room was quite small (which is not unusual in France). The bathroom could use more maintenance.

Hotel boreal was spotless and the staff was all very helpful I would recommend the breakfast. Just 5-10mins walk outside the main square within 5mins of local bars (try the melting pot it had a very good mixture of people and very good beers) and if you cycle. At the end of the street was a docking station for city bike hire and they are every where in the city. A very good way to get around!

Emplacement idéal entre la gare Matabiau et la place du Capitol , la proximité des "kébab" et des prostituées qui permet de satisfaire tous les appétits. La convivialité due au fait que l'architecte de l'hôtel a prévu une faible insonorisation afin de pouvoir profiter des ébats des uns et autres même à des étages différents de celui de votre chambre . Il est servi un bon petit déjeuner reconstituant , nécessaire après une nuit animée . Note 10/10 !

L'accueil, le petit déjeuner bien qu'il soit un peu cher, le large espace de la chambre. L'isolation (la chambre est mal insonorisée de la chambre et un peu difficile à chauffer).
