Brice Hôtel  

Hotel staff is very friendly. They try to help with any question. There are two ladies at reception who are Russian speaking that make very easy communication for my children and wife to get good advices of shopping, transport,good cafes and restaurants. Everything was excellent: city, people and challenging event: Nice-Cannes marathon on 20th November, that we run succefuly and after that have pleasent rest in the hotel and nice sightseeing of several towns along the Azure Shore. Hotel is at comfartable location as from seaside as from railway station.

Excellent staff; friendly and helpful.Garden an absolute oasis of tranquility. Ait conditioning very efficient.

Dining room rather gloomy

Very nice hotel for the price way more than I expected, staff is very friendly, rooms are nice for the price, location is great, affordable parking near by and lots of restaurants near by. Will definately stay there again.

Nothing really to dislike - breakfast could be better, but it was a hotel standard as-is

It was within easy reach of the beach and there were places to eat and drink within walking distance. The price was reasonable for the area. The bed was spacious and very comfortable and it was useful to have a fridge in the room. The air conditioning worked really well. We had breakfast on our last morning there was a good choice and it started from 7am till 10:30 am. There is a lift to all floors.

The room decor was a little tired and the carpet needed a good clean but the things that mattered like clean sheets and towels were all there.

The room is large, cozy and comfortable. The staff is quite nice.

Good location

Very small, old rooms. Outdated decor and dirty carpets. Funny smell in lobby: this used to be a hospital!

The hotel staff was overall very accomodating, always willing to help. Room was absolutely comfortable, clean and cozy.Location was extremely convenient. Great value for the money.

Nice atmosphere, good service, very clean

This is a friendly, family run hotel which offers comfortable rooms near the city centre with a lovely garden. Good value for money.

The location is perfect. The entrance of the hotel, impressive. The staff, very good.

The hotel room: too small, odd and old. The walls of the room too tiny that you could hear every single guest in the next rooms. As I live in Amsterdam, and I am used to the hotel prices here, I would say that for the money paid for this hotel in Nice, the room was just "ok". But I have called the hotel and asked for an upgrade, where I was told that the room would be ok for me. The main problem was the walls: not strong enough to keep the noise of the other rooms locked with themselves. Not sure I would book this hotel again. I have seen better ones around the city.

The hotel was not very far away from the train station or the beach, so a 10-min walk to both was possible and was our first reason to choose Brice Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and understanding. They offered us what we need for before we asked. Receptionists speak very well English and they were very, very kind to us. The hotel is not very close to "Old City", but since we were on vacation, it was just a 15-20 min walk, no problem there. Hotel has a very nice garden, although the weather didn't allow us to have breakfast outside, it has a nice view, would be wonderful to sit under the shades of beautifully planted trees in the summer. The breakfast was open buffet and they were offering tomatoes, olives, bread, yoghurt, and eggs next to the traditional croissant-marmelade-coffee trio of French breakfast. Totally worth the price. Our overall satisfaction would be good.

Dust was the only problem we encountered. Hotel needs a better maintenance on cleaning dust. I am not talking about everyday dust, but some places had centimeters of at least a couple of month's dust on them. So keep that in mind if you are allergic like me. (But overall hygiene was okay; our sheets, towels, the bathroom was very clean and comfortable.)
