Difficult to got location, when arrived no address there...bad...and bad, We got key in another place...??? So what....crazy !!!
Good location. Good price. Very well equipped kitchen.
It was quite hard to get into the apartment even with the description we received. Bathroom was hard to lock.
Location and full kitchen
Old building with thin walls - hear noise sometimes
The apartment was in a great location, close to bars, restaurants, etc.
You have to pick up the key for the apartment close to the Champs-Elysee, which is about 6 metro stops away from the apartment. On weekends and holidays you cannot do this before 4pm as no staff is present at the office! Our first day was basically spoilt as we had to take our suitcases with us since no luggage storage is available. On the departure day we had to go to Gare du Nord to store our luggage which cost us valuable time. Althought the apartment was nice, not having any staff where you actually live and no luggage storage available is a BIG BIG DISADVANTAGE!!!
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment on Rue D'Aboukir for 4 nights. It had great kitchen facilities so we could cook dinner each night. We were able to walk to to all of the sights, but a metro is nearby as well as bikes to hire. Great area.
Our check out was at 11am and our flight wasn't until 11pm. We could have taken our bags back to the main office but took them to a train station to store for the day.
There was plenty of space, reasonable price, most things we needed
We were moved to another apartment from the one we had booked. It was ok but there was no hair drier and we asked for the agency to deliver one which happened at 3 pm the next day. If you are leaving later you need to be aware there is nowhere to store luggage after you leave as there is nobody on the premises and this is not a hotel
Location, facilities, bathrooms, space
'IKEA-quality' furniture, dirty white cloth seats
had everything anyone would need nicely decorated and stylish furniture, tv was massive 60 inch flat screen.
nothing about the apartment just that we where ment to be in 2/3 district but were moved to district 17 at the last minute but paris id such a lovely place that it didnt bother me too much.
Appartment well located in Le Marais
Appartment was old and needs refurbishment Key had to be picked up from the other side of the city. Extremely painful when travelling with a kid.
The staff, location was ok.
The building was very old, the apart is very small, the floor is not leveled & most of the other apartments are used as storage for the shops in the same street.
The apartments without stairs so it is difficult to claim the stairs with traveling bag to the 3 floor. The stairs was UNSAFE because it's made from wood and the roof was open to sky so when it's raining the stairs will be slips
We;ve booked this hotel in 2 months before our trip with agreement that we will pay for the hotel at the day of arrival. One week before staying in this hotel we have been charged all amount of sum. 2 days befor our trip we had an e-mail saying that they couldn't provide us a room in the hotel that we've booked. For the alternative they advise us to stay at the appartment that located in different part of Paris. To get into this apartment we suppose to go and take a keys for the entrance door from 3rd part location. We were traveling with 3 years child and didn't want to spend half a day finding keys for apartment that far away from our travel rout. Finally we had no refunds back for the room in the hotel that we have never been and still need to wait.
Everything was difficult about it. I would not recommend this to anyone. We had a last minute change to our apartment but were not notified. The entire process of finding the locations of the keys in one place and the apartment in another part of the city was terrible. When we borrowed a phone from a stranger to call to start the process we were told we couldn't get the keys earlier than 4 pm and to go see the sights of Paris with luggage in tow. They also expect you to have a phone. I live in the US and do not see the need for a vacation phone in Europe. From the time of calling them at 12:30, I did not get to the apartment until 8:45. I emailed them and complained but have receive no apology, let alone any recompense for time and effort wasted. They claim they offer "a refreshing alternative that offers a unique experience and lifestyle. We are committed to ensuring that your stay with us is easy and enjoyable." It was an incredibly bad experience.
location not too bad, very french, once we got inside.
the process of picking up the keys, travelling across paris from station cost us a lot of money and time.as it was peak hour traffic. the elevator was beyond small and hard to fit luggage in. the appliances all in french, washing machine etc, no iron ( which was delivered after calling ) wifi terrible toaster had UK plug so couldnt use it. would be a good idea for other travellers, to perhaps have someone meet them at the property, to explain the various appliances etc or to make up a manual of some kind in differant languages that runs through the apartments. luckily we had two lovely french boys up stairs who helped us with the washer, and lent us an iron.
Great location Beautiful flat Big rooms Modern but period property Mod cons Safe
We booked the flat for one night, couldn't check in until 4pm and had to do so from another location, far away from the apartment. We had to buzz ourselves into a building and call a number to get a code to get the key then travel back to a different location for the apartment. Check out was 11am. Not worth the hassle for one night.
Clean, great location. Value for money
The room is clean, the kitchen is clean and complete.... all is great for the family with 2 children like us.
too much noise from outside if someone come in or come out to hotel.
Big rooms Wifi
They give you an other address/location then showed. Rue Etienne is a good place with a lot of restaurants and bars and close to the metro station. But we get a totally other apartment nearby La Republik, while we already payed for a parking pass at Etienne. It is not clear on the site that they pick just one of their apartments when you arrive. Also the rooms isn't the same als the apartment that we had. There were 2 bathrooms, one was nice the other was creepy.
no much great for backpackers or stags/hens
very unsafe for young kids(no bars on windows , no air conditioning as we could not open the windows . Not very clean Not our chosen location Not a family friendly place - no curtain on bathroom window (not great when you have 3 under 11 year old girls travelling with you )
It was spacious and clean. Low cost.
The lady staff whom I contact was not kind at all while another staff was (a man) just OK. You will have to pick up the key from the place which is far from the apartment. I recommend this place only for low cost and location.
Room was nice..
No Wi Fi could not connect to it at all
the apartment is small but comfortable, great location, has everything you need (apart from functioning WIFI)
The Bridgestreet offices where guests are required to pick up the keys, is nowhere near the apartment and in a completely different neighbourhood about 30 minutes away. I arrived on a sunday outside of office hours, and whilst the instructions emailed to me prior to arrival were very clear (I was to go to the office, find a mailbox, and phone a local number once I got there in order to obtain the code for the mailbox where I would then find my key in an envelope), it appeared the phone number did not work. coincidentally, I arrived there at the same time as another couple with a reservation, and they had the same problem - so it wasn't a problem with my phone - and both of us kept trying to phone the number to no avail. There was no alternative number. I phoned booking.com, but they could not get through neither nor did they have an alternative number (although they were very helpful and even followed up with a phone call later!). Through turning on data roaming and searching the web I found the general bridgestreet website and a phone number in the UK. I phoned the UK office and was eventually put through to the Parisian concierge (who, instead of apologising, inquired how I could have possibly obtained her personal number) who finally gave me the code. I emailed Bridgestreet, and have not received any response or apology. Extremely bad customer service. Once I got to the apartment (which in itself was nice enough!!) it appeared that the WIFI network and code I was given did not work. All in all, very disappointing.
Location, space, wi-fi
The code to the front entrance to the apartment building had been changed and Bridgestreet did not inform me of this. If I had not met another occupant who gave me the correct code, I risked spending the night on the street, as I discovered this after the Bridgestreet office was closed. I emailed Bridgestreet to inform them of this, as it could be a problem for the next user, but I got no acknowledgement. Hot water was quirky.
The location was excellent and nearby a metro station. We had a late arrival which allowed us to pick up our keys from a lockbox at the office. The office was easy enough to get to from the metro. Thankfully we called before boarding our plane to get the key codes for both the door and box. The instructions for getting to the flat were clear enough. The flat was great for six people. Very spacious.
Not knowing the location until arriving was not ideal. The floors of the apartment were clearly old, worn, and very creaky. There was a distinct possibility of splinters. Our apartment was on the 5th floor. The staircase up to it was wooden spiral, which wasn't bad until we got back after a full day of walking. There was a very small lift that two people could use at a time. We had a bit of difficulty getting the tv and wifi to work the first night but figured it out eventually. Our air conditioning also didn't work.
