Breakfast

We were late to the hotel as we had to drive from Cherbourg which we didn't leave until about 5.15pm. We didn't arrive to hotel until 11.30pm. We couldn't gain entry. There was however a 24hr keycode machine to admit late entry. We entered every number on our booking form;it wouldn't give us entry. Luck would have it a couple staying in the hotel had sent out for food and we could get access to the building via a side door that the couple had opened to receive the delivery, however we had to bang on doors and shout to gain entry from a woman who was vacuuming at 12 midnight don't know if she was a cleaner or a receptionist but she was very vague and had thankfully some keys to give us entry for the night. We had been driving for many hours and we just wanted to go to sleep so we didn't make a fuss.

The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs particularly as my partner has mobility issues. The hotel facilities for a visitor with mobility issues were excellent and the staff were very helpful when we were entering or exiting the hotel at all times, ensuring that nothing blocked our entrances or exits and opening side doors for ease of access. On more than one occasion the particular staff member I spoke to did not speak english but they went and got an english speaking member of staff to respond my queries.

All staff were very polite and friendly - room comfortable and bathroom more than ample size

Not that it made any difference to the holiday but they advertised Satelite tv to British clients but there were no english speaking channels and it would have made a difference if the weather was particularly poor.

Easy to find, good parking easy access to centre of La Rochelle

Room very small, no cupboards or bedside tables. Nowhere to put underwear except on an open shelf. No hair dryer.

Clean Rooms. A personal touch. Breakfast fine.

Le personnel a été très aimable et souriant.

Très bon accueil, on nous a fourni des renseignements précieux dès notre arrivée ! Calme et propreté des chambres. L'hôtel est un peu à l'écart du centre, et c'est pas plus mal. Le restaurant est bon.

Accueil agréable , personnel sympathique

Bruit de climatisation extérieure (sous la fenêtre de la chambre) et mauvaises odeurs dans la salle de bains (problèmes tuyauteries?)

La propreté des chambres (nous n'avons pas profité du restaurant car nous étions reçu par la famille), le décor, sombre mais de bon goût, le silence dans l'hotel ainsi que dans l'environnement car trés bien isolé par le double vitrage;, le confort du lit et de ses couettes trés douillettes, une sdb correcte.

Gentillesse rare et exceptionnelle du personnel que ce soit à l'accueil ou en salle.Chambre irréprochable.Facilités d'accès à La Rochelle. Brasserie agréable ,plats copieux.
