Very nice and clean rooms. Bathroom. Free Wi-Fi (FYI, on registration to network you can put any delirium you want. It will be much easier and faster to register each time you are entering network than to use your previous log-in details). Region is quiet. If you target is to sleep out, this is one of best places.
Nobody speaks English (you should consider this during planning of your travel). It's funny, but I was not able to find toilet paper in lavatory.
Boring kitchen, nice-looking menu, but two times the same salademix on a dish, cold and week french fries. afterworth a "not hot"coffee.
Conveniently on main road down the Cotentian peninsula. Receptionist/manager called me early in the day to ensure I had the code to get in that night. Room clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast OK.
Everywhere closed on middle Saturday night of August. Hotel restaurant was closed. Only restaurant in town closed at 2030. Had to drive 7kms to coast for a meal (at Piriou, very small resort, where there were about four restaurants). Probably more available in Lessay outside the peak August time, when I suspect most of its inhabitants had themselves gone away on holiday. Seemed as though there was no-one on duty in the hotel overnight, although I may be wrong. Curious that the switches to both beds' lights were next to one of the twin beds, so could not be reached from the other bed.
Very friendly staff. We arrived after the normal dinner serving time, but they didn't hesitate to provide us with a very good dinner of our choice.
We were woken at 2.30 am by a group of older English people arriving back at the hotel after an obviously good night out. Talking at the tops of their voices, crashing doors, no consideration for other guests and continuing until 4.30 am despite being asked by us to be quiet. They also left the hotel early, again making quite a lot of noise. We were ashamed to be British, and hopefully they will read this review and also feel ashamed at their behaviour. Not sure why the staff didn't intervene, though.
Location and Breakfast.
The Resturant being closed on Sunday as we had to go St. Germain Plage to find a place to eat.
comfortable room, good service, good food both at breakfast and evening meal. Pleasant staff all making for more of a 4 star stay than 3 star.
