This hotel is on the stylish Rue Saint Honoré in the center of Paris, just 1300 ft from The Louvre Museum. It offers air conditioned and soundproofed rooms and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 320 reviews Good
the noise and the homeless and drunken youths a few metres from the hotel is quite a bit scary for new visitors coming to the hotel.
Garden, staff, location, bed, breakfast cofee
No kettle. Shower room could have had a window into wall outside as it got very sticky. It really would be easy as the wall is right there----
Room size too small.
Good location well served by the metro.
Mattress of doom. Thin walls (you can hear every bit of "business" being done next door...) Shower blocked up. Some kind of insects excrement in the bathtub. Picture in the description nothing like the real thing. Avoid if possible.
Very friendly staff. Good location.
Great location with easy access. Clean room with a good mattress; nice view of courtyard. Breakfast was basic with relatively limited options, but tasty and fresh. I would definitely stay here again.
Too few electric outlet, especially near the bed. Bathtub short and narrow, which limits standing space when using the shower. Bathroom lights not bright enough (shaving, etc.). WiFi weak/difficult on some floors. Also, the system for connecting is too complicated.
phone not working in the room. Breakfast disappointing
The room was nothing what it looked like online. There was a dirty bar of soap in the bathroom. I was made to pay for wifi whe it says it's free. This hotel is a one star hotel at best in my opinion. I book on booking.com and I am always satisfied. This truly made my vacation an inconvenience. I had to change to another hotel for the second night of my stay, I thought the room itself was not clean.
Nice location - very close to Gare du L'Est. There are a lot of restaurants, shops, patisseries around the hotels. The room is nice, comfortable and clean.
As far as most of the day we were out for sightseeing, we were going back in the hotel just for sleeping and having shower. So, everything was fine.
It was affordable and located near some primary rail stations. The rooms were comfortable, clean, with large bathrooms. Near an indoor market where we could get fruit, bread, and cheese.
Neighborhood a little sketchy since I had a group of teenagers with me, but as long as we weren't wandering around at night, we were okay. There were some interesting ethnic restaurants nearby.
Very handy for Gare du Nord/Gare de l'Est. Not cheap but not bad for a hotel on Magenta - breakfast included would have been good.
Wifi was slow.
Location was great for us. The size of the room and bathroom is very good.
Quality. Room 138 is not 3 star. The photo on the website is not correct. The photo with the red wall is not the room you get. Our room has an aged interior and the bathroom has patches of mould, no coffee tea.
The location is very good, close to both Gare de Nord and Gare de l'Est. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is functional. We have stayed there before and would choose to stay again when visiting Paris.
Breakfast was a bit limited in variety.
Staff were friendly and helpful. When we complained that the triple room we were first allocated was in fact a double with an extra bed added making it cramped; we were instantly changed to a larger triple room in a quiet building at the back of the Court yard without any quibbling.
The fact that we were not initially given the room we requested. The breakfast was very basic and repetitive. The room was not very clean - we found rubbish under the beds. The shower head was broken and the radiator didn't work.
The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Good location, close to the Eurostar. Helpful staff.
Breakfast finished at 9.30am on a Sunday, that's a bit early
I wanted to stay near the Gare du Nord, but I decided to move a bit farther, and pay a bit more and get something nicer. But this hotel was not nice. The room was very old, the carpet had stains and big holes, the bed cover had suspicious white stains. We didnt have toilet paper in the room, and the receptionist said that there was a big group checking in and couldn't help, we went downstair and he was alone! THis hotel is due a review of the 3 starts urgently.
Great value and very clean rooms. Perfect location very short walk to Gare Du Nord. Staff very pleasant and inviting
The location and it was a clean room.
The small room, no safety box, no elevator for some rooms. Really thin walls and the internet was only free for one device and we were 3 people.
The beds are comfortable. Location is not far from the central train station and lots of restaurants nearby. Staffs are very friendly and speak fluent English
Unlike other hotels that we stayed, free Wifi for one guest per room only and not interchangeable between mobile phone and laptop.I Had taken 1 double room and 1 triple room (5pax) Thus, we had to purchase wifi access at Euro2 per person for the remaining guests.
Closeness to Gare du Nord
Had to hump suitcases up a flight of stairs with no proir warning. Wifi, which did work in reception, did not function in our room. Showerhead would not stay in place and the shower drain was blocked. The room, billed as "superieure" was certainly anything but. And not cheap either.
Staff always helpful and friendly. Good location near Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. Good local bistros and a covered market just over the road.
it was clean and quiet. Well placed for what we needed. Linen on the spare pillows had not been changed!!!
I thought the price was excessive for the minimal facilities that were provided
Comfortable bed Good shower, hot
Wonky staircase Vibration from Metro trains
Location was good for local transport and getting about and convenience for station
Room was not as described and certainly not "superior" room which was what we had booked. Bedding/towels were very clean, bed comfortable but not kingsize as promised and not even double. Bathroom was a disgrace - broken tile with big piece missing between bathroom and bedroom - not coverd in tape to protect feet. Bath was not even big enough to bathe in - tiny unless you were a child and we are not large people. Nothing to hold getting in and out of overbath shower and not even a slip mat - very dangerous for anyone over 30 I would have thought and we are both very fit. No smoke alarms. We were on 4th floor - not a problem but they started works on 5th floor during our stay. Lift was grubby and tiny - stair carpet was filthy on all but 1 and 2 floors. How much more do you want - I certainly would not have eaten breakfast there. We did enquire on arrival if ours was a superior room, were told it was by a gentleman who didn't greet us and just shrugged about the room. It did not compare to a superior room we had in Paris last year and we only changed to this hotel because it was walking distance from station. Wrong move!!! Will book independently in future.
