the price, the TV channels
used, worn out rooms, bathroom, small room under the roof, mess on the corridor, theoretic free WIFI which is not usable at all, free miní bar- with 2(two) 0,5 l bottles of mineral water The hotel should be rated max 3***
staff smiling, and many attentions such as fruits, bottles of water, and good expresso machine available free of charge
Tiny tiny room. Much too small for 2 people
Everything that I expected from a hotel for my weekend in Paris. 2min. far from metro station, good neighborhood with lots of good restaurants. Rooms are clean whith a comfort bed for a quiet and good sleep.
free drinks in reception area friendly staff
Small, almost boutique-like. Helpful staff. Free Nespresso and water in-room, recharged daily. Nice shower. Good bed, solid sleep.
Not 4 stars, definitely. Cleanliness could be better. Far from what people go to Paris for. Breakfast is not expensive but could be better.
Good price for paris
Not quite 4star; pretty small
Closeness of metro station, pleasant staff.
Small room with view on back street, which was very noise in the morning. Bad wi-fi signal in the room, very small bathroom. Definitely not a 4-star hotel.
friendly staff. good shower
empty cups of coffee from the prior guests. Hair on the walls of the shower
Good location with a few eateries and patisseries nearby...metro closeby Great friendly and helpful staff
Rooms extremely small but it is to be expected in Paris!
you will not get what you paid for. you can find better accommodation with the same price. it should be a one star-hotel only. room is very small and one can barely move around. do not believe in the pictures in the ads, these are deceiving and very far from the actual room. doors are very close to each other and we thought that someone is opening our door every time the others open theirs. TV is not working well and wifi is very slow.
Not far from gare du monparnasse and metro 13 pernity. People are very kind and helpful.
I loved having good coffee in the afternoon..and apples AND what was really nice was I was able to leave my suitcase there for 5 days
I was given a brochure and asked to sign up for "membership" at the richard lenoir best western I asked if I could get my half price breakfast as promised in the brochure1)-they had no idea what I was talking about.they had no brochures 2) the BW Montparnasse failed to process my membership card so I am still waiting for it- I had a "temporary" one but it was useless..what happened?
The hotel was homely, the rooms were small but comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Wifi very poor. Breakfast was expensive, fortunately there are many restaurants close to the hotel.
So helpful staff, family friendly Hot bedroom was cured next morning Airconditioning sorted & free breakfast given with apology(top notch).
Air conditioning fixed an Autumn changeover problem
Staff were extremely helpful - nice bakery close by. Good location
Room was a little cramped with 4 people but I guess space is a premium. Wi-fi was very slow
It is close to the city center and to the metro station.
The hotel doesn't have free parking, they advice you to park in an underground parking which costs 35 euros for 24h where, in the end, you are forced to park because there are no free parking places around either. The room was very small, one of the towels and the bedding were ripped which is unacceptable for the price you have to pay per night.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff, good breakfast (from very early to very late morning so great both for early starts and lie-ins), location close to Gare de Montparnasse, free coffee-making facilities in the lobby...
My windows (both bathroom and bedroom) looked onto apartments across the road. I could see the people in the apartments, so I presume they could see me. No see-through blinds or netting so I had to close the curtains/black-out blind completely and turn on the light. I like natural light so this was a teeny inconvenience on an overall great stay.
You know what to expect from a Best Western .. sure values..clean, comfortable beds and pleasant and courteous staff.. This hotel is consistent with your expectations. Excellent isolation in the bedrooms for a good night's sleep. Walking distance to Montparnasse train station. Some pleasant bistros in the immediate area. I was visiting ( female) with a teenage daughter and we felt safe wandering around.
Too expensive (but this applies to all Parisien hôtels...) but I could not say this one is particularly good value for money. Hot breakfast disappointing ( and expensive!)
Staff ok, quiet location, reasonably close to montparnasse train station.
Tiny room, not very welcoming, "old granma's" environment. Too expensive.
10 years travelling all over the world allow me to certify that this has been the worst experience ever. A special offer of 225€ for a room that do not deserve that name. Dirty, messy, uggly, noisy... I have no words to describe this hotel.
-the staff where friendly
- rooms where not clean and the bed had hair and stains on it - rooms where very tiny - there was no room service afte 5:00 pm - it is not the 4star hotel we are used to
Stuck up staff, small, not comfortable, nothing like the pics, low value for money, they dont have an airport shuttle bus its a taxi. The hotel is a total scam
Close to transport and restaurants
Warm room as no air conditioner.
