Best Western Le Grand Hotel  

Good location for shopping, eating out, exploring bayonne. Garage parking was available in another building close by. The staff were very helpful.

The service was lovely and the room was beautiful. Will stay here again.

Clean and comfortable, good price

Location very good - close to shops, bars and sights.

Bed had seen better days but ok, some may say sloping floor adds character but it made it difficult to avoid going to the room door rather than the toilet...

The reception staff were most welcoming, pleasant and helpful. My room was large, very well equipped and comfortable. The hotel is within easy reach of some excellent restaurants, sports facilities,the river estuary and [although this was not the purpose of my trip] beaches at Biarritz and the Pays Basque countryside. I enjoyed an excellent long weekend.

The hotel room was nice and clean. Location is excellent, no need to add hotel breakfast, there is plenty of nice bakeries that have great coffee and everything else. The stuff were very helpful

The room didn't have a kettle or coffee machine that is usually found in best western hotels and no glasses for water. For those who have apple products will most likely unable to connect to internet through the wifi, will have to use the only computer downstairs.

The location of the hotel was excellent. There were many shops and restaurants nearby. We had a car and were always able to find street parking near the hotel (much cheaper than paying for the nearby lot). Beds and pillows were very comfortable.

While there is free wifi in the entire hotel, it doesn't support any Apple products. There is one laptop for guest use in the lobby area, but the French keyboard is very different, so a bit difficult to use (the letters are in different places).

The hotel is located in a very central position. The room is quite big. Quality is Best western standard

It's a good Best Western hotel (Grand Hotel is just the name), but it isn't definitely worth the money. Breakfast is far too expensive, WiFi is not working, old style elevator is noisy; no parking available, neither to unload the luggage

Sa localisation et la taille et la décoration de la chambre.

Nous avons constaté la présence d'insectes (notamment mille pattes sur le lit) La femme de ménage a frappé pour faire la chambre à 10h et nous a réveillé. Elle a à nouveau frappé à 11h. Il est très surprenant et agaçant qu'une femme de ménage ne puisse pas avoir auprès de la réception la liste des chambres qui ont été libérées et le cas échéant respecte l'heure limite de départ soit 12h dans notre cas.

Chambres mal isolées. Pas de bouilloire. Ascenseur toujours occupé. Très mauvais rapport qualité/prix, particulièrement sur le petit déjeuner. Décoration obsolète et de mauvais goût.
