Best Western A La Villa des Artistes    

Loved how nice the staff were and the location of the hotel ! Cafes , bistros , fruit Stands, are everywhere and metro is a minute away . Loved that it was quiet and you couldn't hear anything else once inside the room and the room is not too small that you can't move around . Perfect boutique hotel in a very good neighborhood . High end baby stores are just at the rues behind

The location is really good, close to the metro, and there are many nice restaurants nearby. The staffs are very kind and helpful. Very enough the living there.

I really liked the location and the facilities.

Very good lacation near areas Saint-Germain des Pres and Montparnasse. You can also walk to Luxenbourg park because it's near. Metro station is in next corner and RER B station to Airport about 600 m.

Good value. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast more than ok. Rooms + hotel rather smallish, but what do you expect in a big, overpopulated metropole like Paris? Interior simple but elegant. Excellent location with lots of typical brasseries in the neighbourhood. Metro just around the corner. In other words: happy customers

The hotel has been recently renovated. The staff was nice and very helpful. Pastries and coffee at breakfast were good. There is an elevator which is quite helpful when traveling with a pram and a baby. Location was great, near to Luxembourg garden.

Renovation fumes were quite strong in our first room (#201) so we requested a new room. The fumes were not as bad but still there (#401) so chose to sleep with the window cracked. They did not use low-voc paint and they should have because it is less toxic to humans. On a side note, the Metro line #4 (purple color) near to the hotel was completely shut due to renovation while we were there. Made getting around a bit more difficult. Check the public transpo. Website in Paris before you go!

The room is clean and good location to Montparnasse center.

Location is nearby metro station also not far away from RER station which allows to reach CDG airport easily

The staff were very helpful and it was an advantage as far as I was concerned that the front desk staff spoke fluent English.

The location was the reason for choosing this hotel and this was the most positive point about it.

The staff was not very friendly. They always looked busy and made you feel like you were a bother when asking for information. Usually when we show our Best Western platinum card hitels usually offer some kind of perk (breakfast or upgrade) but not at this location... It was largely ignored.

Helpfull staff willing to speak English. Good central area. Comfortable rooms.

The location is good, a walking distance to Boulevard Saint German, Luxembourg Palace and Gardens, Montparnasse... Cleaning was ok. We didn´t have breakfast in the hotel. Internet in the room free and easy. Quiet place.

The room was ok, but ours was small and quite basic. The bathroom was also small and it was difficult to have a shower without wetting the entire place.

My family and I were extreemly appreciative of the excellent and considerate service we received from its wonderful and friendly staff during our 3 days stay at the" Villa des Artistes". We loved the "quartier", the "real" Paris, accessible to so many excellent restaurants, boutiques and the beautiful " Parc du Luxembourg" . A sure come back for our next visit !! The position is very good to visit Paris.

Nice quiet location only a few minutes walk from the Jardin du Luxembourg which was great for a morning stroll after breakfast. The staff at the hotel were excellent and made us feel very welcome as a family with a 1 year old. Cot bed was already set up in our room for us and it was really good quality one - this was excellent as some hotels provide old looking travel cots! Very pleasant stay we had a great time.

Breakfast was expensive compared to what you could get at the cafes within the surrounding streets. Hotel charge €16 per person but you could get a decent continental breakfast for a family of 3 for €19 in total at the cafes in the area.

It surprised me with our room (Arty double) as the building doesn't look very attractive but the room was great! It had everything we needed and was reasonably priced for a short trip! I would recommend the hotel and area as it was right next to Vavin which had great links to the rest of the city. Also, being (embarrassingly) not very good at French, we felt very welcome and it was nice to hear English even though we didn't expect it! Thank you!

Not very noise proof - we were right next to the lift and it sounded like people were moving heavy objects above our head - but it wasn't too loud!

The rooms were attractive and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and promptly helped when needed. The location was excellent, quiet but near to everything.

The hotel more than met all our expectations.

Great location, very friendly staff and very clean hotel

The rooms were nice and clean. Wifi was free, which is harder and harder to find. There is also a very nice restaurant right next door, which is not negligible! As far as I am concerned, a great business hotel with a cosy touch.

I didn't try breakfast, so I can't comment on that, but for the rest, nothing negative to say about the hotel.
