Staff most helpful and accomodating, rooms were compact but functional. The Hotel was Ideally centered for our needs ..... perfect. Food left a little to be desired, Cold items in an hot meal once, my daughter was none too pleased. |

Cleanliness. Staff, Evening meals, Breakfast, something simple like toast and scrambled egg would have been nice, but they did not cater for the English taste, rooms need updating ie to small for holiday breaks, ( ok for 1 night,) needed two comfortable chairs and flat screen tv on wall, |

Very clean, pleasant staff, good breakfast and excellent dinner. The hotel served us well as a place to stay while touring the Normandy countryside. While the hotel grounds themselves are very minimal, the botanical gardens one block away were awesome! A little hard to find at first - stay on the street with the Caen Memorial but on the opposite side of the traffic circle, and keep going until you see the hotel on the right. The treelined road tends to block the visibility of the hotel sign and we did not see any roadside pointers. |

Closeness of getting to car ferry - about 20 minutes The food wasn't very good, we had dinner there. Also reception was shut when we left at 6.45am, we had paid the bill the night before however had not been advised what to do with the room keys in the end we left the keys in the room as there was nowhere safe to leave them. |

Nous sommes arrivées avant l'horaire de réservation et l'hôtesse d'accueil a été très aimable en nous permettant d'avoir les clés pour déposer nos affaires mêmes si les chambres n'étaient pas faites. Ceci fut fort agréable. Nous avons été déranger par une arrivée très tardive et très festive par d'autres personnes qui dormaient dans les chambres en face des nôtres et ceci à durée 2 heures. Malgré l'appel à la réception et le faite que l'on nous ai dit que quelqu'un viendrait le bruit n'a pas cessé. Fort regrettable! |
