Hôtel California Champs Elysées  

Location

Some floors in the hotel were under constructions. Therefore, it was really noisy as the builders start to work at 8 am to 6 pm. It is unreasonable at all to live there under the current situation due to the high noises. I asked the staff regarding the noises and they lied saying that the noises from the next building. I found the second floor which is the floor above my room has a lot of builders working on building the rooms! That wasn't fair for me at all-see at YouTube "hotel California champs élysées" I will upload vid clip about that-. I couldn't sleep neither my family. Also, my baby couldn't take her afternoon nap due to the noises.

Furniture and rooms are nothing like the photos and the description, no real restaurant and ....its the most expensive bad hotel I have even stayed in

I kept on changing my room cards more than 5 times so cards quality is poor .

Wonderful location. The room was so quiet and yet very close to the Champs Elysees. The staff were friendly and the room comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice.

There was no hot water in the morning when we wanted to shower so we ended up spending three (3) hours each morning waiting for hot water. The staff lied about the problem and tried to blame the district for the difficulty - however there was water the hotel just does not have the ablility to heat it during peek usage times in the morning. In forty-five (45) years of hotel stays this was the worst I have ever experianced...there are several more issues about this property but you really don't care. My funds should have been refunded !!!

Great room, great location, excellent staff, special attention such as wellcome leter and gift.

The gym has greT space but the equipment (multi work out) is terrible and not enough weights. The treadmills aregood. Breakfast is good but service there was bad with no replacements on time.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful, the room was perfect and the location couldn't have been more fantastic

Great location, excellent service. The hotel upgraded our room to a suit thinking that we might not be comfortable with two kids in one room and we were lucky that there was an available suit at that time.. This itself was a good indicator of a professional service. Everything was very clean. If I go to Paris again, this is the place that I will stay and recommend to my friends.

Wi-fi was not working in our room, which was not very important for us but if it is necessary for you then ask for a room closer to the center of the hotel.

Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Made suggestions and reservations for dinner. Hotel was quiet and had a great location. I will definitely return and stay at Hotel California

The staff were great and the renovated rooms are fantastic. Housekeeping was also very efficient.

Both elevators were down for two days. Then they fixed one and the other was out of service for four days. Wifi in the rooms was sometimes slow.
