rather pretty room, great people on the desk, some of the staff were very good. Nice bathrooms...why not include a better bathmat?

dilapidated elevators, no place for more than one piece of luggage, slightly cramped quarters..pricey menu.

Very rude, discourteous and unprofessional staff. Very inefficient. Lack of scruples. Helping attitude missing altogether and no customer service orientation. A lt of attitude from the staff. The room facilities were limited.

I recommend to upgrade or add another elevator since one of the two was under maintenance and the other is old

the welcomming and the respect was wonderful and it was enoguogh for me to choose them again also the location is perfect that is close to all shopping areas andthe environment was really nice and quite.

When the hotel found out we were on our honeymoon, they upgraded us from Deluxe to a suite. That was an amazing gesture. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The suite was spacious with two Flat screen TVs, one in the bed room one in the TV room.

Nothing at all. Apparently the hotel has two sections; old and new. So i recommend new couples to try for the new rooms.

Check in- allocated incorrect room despite clear instructions in my booking, eventually changed our room. Poor coffee and tea making facilities ( paper cups instead of china). Very slow check out, and error on bill.

Some two weeks before our booking and unable to speak French I sought some assistance with directions from the concierge, who was most helpful. This encouraged me to select the Hotel California on our return to Paris. I was not disappointed as all staff especially the lady in charge of reception, made our stay a pleasure.

The Location was excellent and one of the receptionists excelled in her Job, she was very efficient and courteous. Any time we called for anything for the room, the response was very prompt.

I wouldn't class the hotel as a four star. Robes and slippers were available as stated in the booklet but we had to ask for them. Also they put the two single beds together to produce a king but it doesn't work as the centre of the bed was very uncomfortable I just thought decor was a bit lame and could have been more updated for a four star hotel in Paris.

Its the small things that made this a great room to be in. I love coffee and this came with a Nespresso machine. Staff were great and helpful. The location was great, close to shops and amazing architectural structures.

One elevator was broken (probably still is) and then the second one stopped working. I had to walk up to the top level several times which was not ideal with the bags i had.

Apart from the excellent location; the hotel has a friendly staff at the reception and lobby who were smiling all the time and very helpful...

The rooms inside the hotel doesn't match a 4 star hotel and the room service is extremely poor...
