Location wise this was perfect for us
The smallness of the toilet/shower The fire alarm on our second night
The hotel is conveninetly located in the centre of Paris (less than 5 min walk to the Gare du Nord). ideal for catching early/late trains. Very clean and tidy rooms/bathroom & toilet.
The carperts in the hallway were very worn out and had lots of dirt marks. There were no carpets in the room and the furniture was a little worn out too. You get what you pay for
We stayed at the hotel cambrai for 2 nights. The room was small but really clean. The hotel is right by gare du nord which means that travel around Paris is made simple and easy. The staff were fantastic. A well priced hotel in an excellent location. Highly recommend.
Excellent for 2 to 3 day travel, Close to major train station, Has the required facilities, WIFI facilities.
Location, close to all food and transport requirements
Good location close to Gare du Nord. Friendly and helpful staff. Good and clean room.
No free internet in rooms - only in reception.
I travelled with my friend and stayed in one of the twin rooms for couple of nights. It was okay. Staff are very friendly and overall good vaue for money. I'll recommend it for anybody who wants a place to stay for few days and looking for a reasonable price.
On our first night, I found it difficult to get some sleep because the room was on the roadside eventhough I've requested a quiet room. The bathroom was too small The room size was average, the light was very dim, has to turn all the lights on to make the room a bit brighter.
The location was convenient from Gare Du Nord
The noise coming from the hostel next door was unbearable and I could not sleep.
Nice location. Cheap. Helpful with a misplaced passport.
Parts of banister were not connected. Handing key in each time we left. Very loud with window open, too hot when closed. Expensive breakfast.
After reading several negative reviews I had low expectations, but it was clean and the staff were very friendly!
Bathroom was a little small
Closeness to Gare du Nord station
Toilet seat was broken and when we complained staff said they cannot do anything and we had to manage with no option left. We wanted to complain to manager but not given access to him. So in short very uncomfortable stay there. My advise do not go by what is said about hotel description and location advantage, better to get something better bit far from Gare du Nord than staying in this hotel. There is very nice public transport. Add to that strange smell in stairways, lot of noise from outside during the night, also depending on the room you get it may get too hot inside during summer.
Noisy room (number 1). Breakfast not recommended.
Location. Easy walk from main station. Plenty local cafés
No fridge in room. No air con. wi Fi limited,to half a hour free in room.other wise five euros.free if in the foyer lounge.The. Asian man on reception was very good.
location is very handy to train, metro and bus although rooms are small it is ok if you just use the hotel to sleep.
noisy when you leave the window open
The hotel is very convenient especially if you have a train to catch early in the morning as the North Station is 3 minutes away. The street is actually a boulevard (Magenta) and the area is safe even late in the night (I tested it when getting back after 1 a.m. from an endless sightseeing session!). It takes 10-15 minutes to reach Sacre-Coeur on foot and only a few minutes to get to the metro. The room is medium size, clean and quite ok for a short stay. The price (69 euros) seemed fine for a decent place in Paris, especially during holiday season. I didn't try breakfast because my Eurostar train left at 7 a.m., but there are lots of shops of all kinds in the neighbourhood. A little tip: there are two hotels at that number (129 and 129 bis), pay attention not to knock at the wrong hotel room door as I did!
Just the fact that I couldn't spend more time in the beautiful Paris....
Very good location
No breakfast facility
Very helpful staff!
Breakfast - not filling!!!
Helpful and friendly staff. Good location, near train station. Clean.
Room a little small when you have luggage taking up the floor space. Loft room would have been better with two of us instead we had three.
*The place was so easy to locate. *Very near to the station of gare du nord.. *the hotel staff is very kind and accommodating.. *very near to the shopping center
Location was easy enough to get to, we got a cab from Barcelona Sants at around €10. Also not far from the metro. Staff were super helpful giving us instructions to some shops and such. Room was spacious and clean and comfortable. Only there a night but could have stayed longer!
Not directly related to the hotel but there was a menu left in the room for dominoes pizza in both Spanish and English which promised an English call centre and some kind of perk if you mentioned the hotel. There was no one who spoke English and anyone we did get through to was really rude. Still not directly related to the hotel but misleading as we had banked on that for dinner when everything else was shut.
The ensuite the size of a small cupboard. The bed very low on the floor and had to crawl over partner to get to my side of the bed. It has a lift but not a modern one. Towels that thin u could see thru them. Hole in bedspread. Don't stay here. Backpacker hostel would be better
Close to Gare du Nord, where we caught the train early in the morning. Staff were friendly. A big bath in bathroom with shower above.Very Basic/small room but clean.
Toilet seat was not attached to the pan. Although staff were apologetic when I told them. Building and floor covering showing signs of being a bit worn out.
Traveling alone with my children we walked into this hotel and it looked pretty dodgy, however didn't want to judge a book it's cover. Got to the room my kids and took one look at each other and walked straight out to find another hotel. Definitely not described correctly on the website.
Situated a short 2 minute walk from Gare De Nord. Close to many shops, tourist buses & cafe's. Our room had a little patio, so we could get fresh air.
Very noisey from traffic with the patio doors open. (Must add though, it was quite with doors closed) There is no electric jug in room to make hot drinks. The breakfast was very minimal (Only had it once, not worth the money)
