Room size is too small
Breakfast and paper thin walls.
very friendly staff, room cleaned up every day, location to explore Paris excellent !!!
Price Fairly good location and neighbourhood Close to the subway
No elevator, narrow stairs Subway line not working on one of the main directions
We loved our days in Paris. The location of the hotel was perfect so we could walk through the whole city. The staff member Kareem was very helpful!
The hotel has a subway across the street so it perfect for getting around.
no lift. the room is very very small.
extra tiny bathroom. We could hear everything from the room next door. No one that can help from 11pm to 6/7am (no receptionist, no guard....)
Staff was friendly and nice. Very close to line 6 and 12 metro station.
Step stairs. No elevator! HOT HOT HOT. Super loud outside night time noise. Bedspread was dirty. For as much as u pay they should be able to update linens, add an elevator and put in AC. Book into a best western or something else!
good location!!! it is convenient for me to everywhere!!
the breakfast is not valued for the price.
Standard tiny Paris hotel room but safety coukd be an issue with limited exits etc..
Tight squeeze to enter room door
Location is very good, staff was frendly
Food was very poor (every day same food), lot of noise from the street. No fridge
Staff was very helpful, especially with figuring out the metro lines as over the July 14th weekend some lines closed down in various locations making it harder to get from one stop to the next directly
Nice location. Rooms are good enough for solo travelers. Staff was helpful too
The toilet and bathrooms are small. I didn't fret much.. I could do all that I had to being a solo traveler. Not for romantic getaways
The location was excellent since I went to a Conference in the Institute Pasteur. My wife and baby son also enjoyed the location, it was near Invalides, Rodin Museum and Luxemburg Gardens, so close to place where they can walk and leisure. The service was good and the people were nice, they provided us with everything that we need for the baby.
The room was a bit too small and specially the fact that we were in the second floor with no elevator was not the best. It was a bit difficult for my wife to carry my son two floors through the small stairs.
The position in the city center next to the metro station; clean room; friendly staff.
Small room with extremely small bathroom; the lack of an elevator could be a challenge to carry the luggage up to the 4th floor; poor breakfast but I appreciated the fresh bread and croissant.
Great location, right by a main Metro line (6) and 12. E.g., line 6 will take you to Trocadero and Etoile in 10-15 min. Lots of cheap (by Paris standard) eateries very near the hotel, plus a few mini-shops in case you want water, beer, etc. The wifi was strong and free, the room and bathroom were clean.
The room was very small (even by Paris standards) and the bathroom was minuscule! Basically impossible to use the bathroom with the door closed; good thing I was alone. Maybe the double rooms have bigger bathrooms? The walls are incredibly thin, good thing that my neighbors were also very considerate. The front desk staff was very indifferent, except for the morning shift: a young lady, she was very nice.
The location was in the 15th arr. of Paris with the hotel being next to the Metro stop. We enjoyed the neighborhood feel. The local vendors recognized us and made us feel at home. The staff at the Camilia was very hospitable and accommodating.
What was not to like?
Only the location
very bad experience small rooms. Not recommended
The location was good. 20 minutes walking distance to Eiffel Tower and the Invalides. Room was clean.
We booked the room for three people thinking that it will have more space. We were wrong. Our room was awfully tiny. No space to walk or sit. It looked like a cabin on a train. It was impossible to take shower. I could not wash my kid because the bathroom was too small. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The bedding was old and torn. Wfi was not working properly. This hotel is not for long time stay. If you need a room for a day, close to center and metro. This is for you. If you are planning to stay for a week or longer. Find different place. Better yet. Rent an apartment. This is what we should have done but did not have enough time for that.
Good staff. Young guys took good care of me. The location is nice as it is in front of the metro station Pasteur, just adjacent (west) to Montparnasse terminal. Some restaurants and cafes are there to wait for your visit, even smaller supermarkets.
No lifts, and I would not stay at this property when my wife is accompanied. The breakfast was not a good deal or not value for money: two pieces of bread, coffee, and a glass of orange juice were served. I definitely recommend not to include breakfast into your tariff. Several feet of walks let you to the supermarkets, and you may get much more foods than served. Note, too, the room has no fridge, and thus purchasing yogurt or other larger bottles of cold drinks is not recommended.
Great Location, the hotel is less than 1mins walk from Pasteur metro station. TV & WIFI are available in the room.
There is no elevator, and my room was at the 4th floor with 68 steep stairs. Breakfast was too humble and does not worth 7 Euros. No AC available in the room. The Bathroom suits only slim people.
The metro station is right across the street and thus is very convenient to get around the city. The restaurant right next to the hotel is good. The staffs are very nice and helpful.
I understand that a single room is usually a room at the corner, but the design of separating the shower place and the toilet is a bit inconvenient. And though I knew that there was no elevator, it does cause a bit inconvenience to me climbing up the stairs especially with luggage since the steps are a bit steep. But other than this inconvenience, everything is fine.
It was noisy. The walls were thin and I could hear noise from next room.
