Score from 845 reviews Very good
Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and bedding. Reasonable dinner.
Wifi kept cutting out. Not enough tea and milk for 2 cups
Room is too small.
The street noise and smell of cleaning fluid.
Good location just off of motorway and importantly for us there was plenty of parking. We found the staff were very friendly and helpful and in our opinion the hotel was perfectly adequate for an overnight stop. We would use it again.
Car parking outside our room.
The buffet was not as good as last year. Very poor selection for vegetarians. No second towel or pillow.
el personal de recepción y el del restaurante.
Price was pretty decent and the room was spacious. Bar and restaurant in hotel for quick drinks or if you didn't want to go out after a long day
Room was kind of damp and never really cleared up. Menu in restaurant is quite limited
Friendly staff. The hotel has excelent location, next to the highway, the city center is reachable by bus (10 minutes, ticket 1 EUR), the bus stop is just outside of the hotel. Free parking. Nice rooms with modern design. Excelent and rich breakfast.
It is a bit difficult to find the hotel, we advice you to use Garmin or other navigation device. The was no brush in the toilette,
Comfortable quiet room. Good restaurant . Secure parking.
The building resembles a multi-storey car park but it's not important when you need a comfortable bed!
We chose this hotel because it was very close to the highway and offered free parking. We were very happy with our choice - a lot of parking space. It's like a motel and you can park your car right in front of the room (we were on the ground floor so it was ideal for that!). Our room was large enough for 2 people, there was a comfortable desk to do some work on the laptop. Comfortable beds. Clean room. New furniture. There was even some instant coffee in the room left for us - which came in handy the next morning before we hit the road again. Highly recommended.
The ONLY thing i didn't like was that the internet connection was very poor. It cut me off constantly, the signal was weak. I suppose it depends on the room but we did ask for a room with goo internet connection and we didn't get it. I did not complain since we were there only for a night and we didn't really need the internet. However, if you insist on having good wifi, make sure you communicate that in advance so you do get a room with good wifi - ours was not like that.
Typical Campanile standard, quick and easy access to and from motorway. efficient service etc. Good choice for a stopover, not so good if you wanted to spend time in the town.
We walked into town for a meal, it's borderline too far on a hot evening, we had a taxi back! After we'd eaten we looked around for a bit, fancied coffee but no where wanted to serve just coffee - weird!
Very clean, convenient price
No refrigerator, not very close to town
price was decent
it was a Motel 6 feeling and quality.
A lot of free parking spots.
Staff are very unfriendly and unprofessional. Carpet is dirty with some stains. Internet is very slow.
I took train to AIX but had no idea how to get to the hotel and asked them twice about public transportion via Booking and got no reply. I had to take a taxi there about Euro35, and the receiption was cold, indifferent and difficult to give a smile. I don't like styles here!
parking resonable rate
It was really worth the price. It's not expensive at all. It was very clean and the service was nice.
The location is more suitable for tourists who like to walk a lot. It takes 20 minutes by foot to get to the town centre and it's also a walk slightly uphill.
Hotel reception area, TV area, bar and restaurant was nice and spacious..comfortable. The reception staff spoke English and were very helpful. So if you are there on business, its great. If you are there as a tourist, the bus #4 to Aix is right outside your door and its a10 minutes ride to the main square
The room was very small..its really ideal for a businessperson who really only needs a place to sleep as its very quiet.
We were really disappointed as we have stayed here three times before. The room smelt musty although it was clean but the evening meal was poor with dried up fish and a messy looking veal dish. The staff seemed disinterested although reasonably polite. We were really sorry as Campanile has been one of our overnight stops for more than 30 years!
Bus stop at the hotel. Restaurant with indoor and garden sitting.
20 minutes walk to downtown.
If you want to live here, you'd better renting a car! It's a little far from the city center. But over all, it's a good place to live for travelers.
Good standards, clean, comfortable bed
It is like a motel: each room has its own entrance etc. You may like it or not, for us it wasn't an issue at all.
Clean and friendly Good restaurant Very sufficient in terms of price/quality ratio Fee big parking wich is rather rare in France
no option to eat in evening except restaurant in the hotel, 7 minutes by car to the city center, but nothing interesting in walking availability
Clean, comfy modern room with lovely bathroom. Plenty of storage space. Fairly good location, approx 25 mins into town centre.
It seemed like too much work for the girl on reception to help us, could do with being more welcoming.
- Good breakfast. - very close to Highway and not far away from city center.
- Staff not very helpful in giving advises about visiting local places. - especially at the ground floor not very quite. - after 22.00 not possible to have any alcoholic beverage.
