Campanile Bayeux  

Tranquilidad, y localización muy cerca de la ciudad y del centro.

Muy bien situado para conocer la costa Normanda y los escenarios del Desembarco. A 10 minutos andando del centro de Bayeux, que es una ciudad muy agradable. Las habitaciones no son para disfrutar de una noche romántica pero son cómodas.

El desayuno muy normalito tirando a pobre. No vale lo que cobran por él.

Location was good. We used Bayeux as our base for D-day sites so the location worked well.

Quiet and view over cow pastures and of the cathedral. Walking distance to Bayeux.

This hotel is suitable for those visiting western France including Bayeux by car. The best of Bayeux town (a small city if you like) is best reached by walking from the motel. We were using the trains and found the hotel reasonably close to the sncf station. Breakfasts were fine with other meals available. The view from our room (at the back) included the medieval cathdral.

This is a motel style accommodation. It is facing towards Bayeux and open countryside. The rooms are very clean. The beds are very comfortable and the heating and hot water is great. The reception staff were wonderful and very helpful with traffic directions. Close to centre of town but easy to get out of town too. The big plus was the restaurant which I ate at due to heavy rain. Very good quality, and good value. Lovely red wines.

A good location close to the historic city centre. Helpful staff. Good parking.

Rooms are a little tired. The concept of motel style rooms accessed by an external corridors is a little dated. In this respect, Campanile loses out to hotels like Ibis which tend to be similarly priced but have an internal structure and lifts.

Campanile Bayeux was in a good location within walking distance of the town. Parking facilities were excellent, you could park right outside your room. The room had comfortable beds with lovely white duvets, ample storage and tea/coffee making facilities. The shower room was very clean with ample shelf space to store toiletries. A good place to stay for a few nights in Bayeux whilst exploring the area.

Advertised free wi fi, but this was only available in the reception area, not in the hotel rooms.

The hotel is very well located for visiting the centre of Bayeux and for exploring Arromanches and the D-Day Landing beaches. Our room was facing the countryside and there was a wonderful view of Bayeux Cathedral. We had 3 evening meals at the hotel and the size of the meat portions were quite small considering the price, but the breakfasts were adequate as it was a self service buffet.The staff were polite and helpful whenever we had a query.

The rooms were clean. There could be a few more wall plugs and more room to hang up cloths.

Yifi was nonexistent in the rooms and appears to be an on going problem. We were told, as it turns out, others were told as well, that the problem was being addressed. It was not and the only place where Yifi worked was in the Restaurant.
