Campanile Béthune - Fouquières-Les-Béthune  

Convenient, very close to the motorway, so a good stop off on the way from the Alps to the uk. Staff were very friendly. Evening meal was excellent although a bit pricey. Rooms are very basic but clean. Recommendation to others is a bit "yes and no" - it has its plus sides, mostly proximity to the autoroute, but I'm sure there are better smaller family-run places nearby if you make an effort to look. I lean towards the "no" due to the very ppor breakfast, and the cost of that very poor breakfast.

Breakfast is appalling. 9 Euros each for a family of 5 = 45 Euros, terrible quality, and frankly lets the whole place down in terms of credibility. I might use it again purely for convenience on route (the rooms are very, very basic, so only if I could not be bothered to find a nicer family-run place locally), but I would definitely not hang around for breakfast.

Good for a late channel crossing

The hotel was easy to find after a long drive from Le Havre.My room was basic but clean and comfortable - with a great shower and the tv worked.I Was at the rear of the hotel, with views over a lawn and trees. Minimal road noise. Bethune was 25 minute walk to the Grand Place , or a 10 euro taxi.The hotel restaurant was good value at night, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. A budget hotel but a good one in my view.

It was a little too far for an easy stroll to Bethune centre.

L'amabilité du personnel

La décoration des chambres vieillotte. Sur les photos de votre site les chambres avaient l'air rénovée (photo avec parquet) et au lieu de celà je tombe sur une chambre avec une vieille moquette toute tachée et une déco affreuse.

Pratique : parking, proche de l'autoroute

Un peu vieillot (sanitaires avec calcaire jauni,...)

de netheid vd kamer, de gemakkelijke bereikbaarheid...

qua overnachting geen negatieve opmerkingen... Het avondmaal daarentegen in het daarbijhorende restaurant, was slecht. Koud vlees, rode wijn die heel koud was.... Het ontbijt daarentegen was dan weer wél in orde :-)

l'accueil très convivial et très professionnel l'équipement de la chambre les denrées mises à disposition, même si il n'y en avait de prévues que pour une seule personne (1 seul sachet de thé, par exemple) alors que nous étions deux personnes le sérieux du personnel de service : j'ai oublié dans ma chambre 56 un cordon d'alimentation électrique qui a été mis de côté et transmis à l'accueil.(nous verrons maintenant, combien de temps il me faudra compter pour le récupérer)
