We always find the beds very comfortable and our dog is always welcomed. The re-furbished hotels are great, disappointed if we get a hotel waiting for it's refurbishment.
We were disappointed with the wet room, this time.I think we prefer the enclosed shower we used at Rouen last time.
Wi if good bed realy nice and food ok too.
Service at the bar could be better.
The diner .very tasty
The wifi conection proved tot be rather poor
Very close to the exhibition centre, Reasonably Good Vale restaurant onsite, Good for people visiting the exhibition centre. Staff is very helpful
The location is not walkable distance from city centre. Wifi was poor. Ground floor rooms are colder than usual unless the AC/heater runs for lengthy time
We did a one night stopover. The hotel was easy to find. Parking was good right outside our room. The room was comfortable with a large bed and a bath.
The location was quite a distance out of town. Wifi was poor.
Clean and well maintained business hotel, located 1.5km from town centre and the cathedral. Given that most people come to Chartres for the cathedral they will be disappointed by the location. However, if you have a car the position is not a problem. Wifi works well and the bathroom is very nicely finished for a business efficiency hotel.
Location, location, location.
Rooms were basic but OK
Asked for a Taxi to centre ville and 45 minutes later nothing. Staff couldn't be bothered to try another cab company. No breakfast after 9 am! We asked at 9.15 to be told that we were too late despite all the tables being laid and the buffet breakfast fully on display and ready to go,
The cost of a la carte menu, I should have had plate de jour. But that mistake was mine not the hotels
price of the room
lack of signs directing you to the hotel. price of the breakfast
Good simple but comfortable accommodation. Quiet but convenient for major routes and the city centre. Restaurant on site served good meals and breakfast at a reasonable price. Excellent for a 1 or 2 night stopover.
In the scheme of things Camponiles are becoming expensive for the basic fare they offer.
Breakfast v good. Evening meal fair to gpod.
Evening meal could be better and more imaginative.
The convenience of finding the hotel easily and being only 2 miles from town centre and wonderful Cathedral
The weather was ghastly as heavy rain all the way from Calais and on to Poitiers but can't blame Campanile for that
Easy to park and easy to depart from.
No cot, no lift and no warning about these things having requested when booked.
Rollaway bed intended for triple room, definately a No No for a mature person
room and the excellent restaurant facilities and food
clean and quite just what you need on along drive....
we found the location difficult to find. I think if we had known to look out for the Airport we would have found it easier
Very convenient for our journey from the south of France.
Lack of choice for evening meal in restaurant.
Although it was August, it was a cold night and the heating did not work. The breakfast selection was very basic compared to all other Campaniles. There were no eggs on offer and just one variety of fresh fruit, the rest was tin fruit.
convenient to get to
level of cleanliness expensive meals
The staff were friendly and the place was easy to find. The rooms themselves are cheap when booked via the internet.
The meals, however, are very expensive for what you can get i.e. tiny portions as part of their buffet. There was a high level of grime around the shower 'blind' which really made us wonder how clean the rooms really were. On our way back, we stayed again at Champanile Chartres. The room we had smelt of sweaty bodies, as if it had not been aired since the last visitors left. The weather had been extremely hot. There was also a slow draining sink in the bathroom. This is a shame because on our last visit last year, we would have posted a more positive review.
Not a lot
Service poor, 3rd bed was a mattress on the floor. Breakfast was very poor for the near 10euros. Will not stay Campanile again.
Good for a over night stop
room was good, tea facilities, everything you need really
location out of town, expensive meals
Evening menu choices not really suitable for children.
