Evening meal was good value
Breakfast is too expensive
welcome could have been more friendly
Easy to find
Next to a roundabout so a bit noisy. The decor is stark and not very welcoming; ok for business travellers but less so for people on holiday. Poor restaurant.
Easy access to Versailles. Plenty of on-site parking. Good size double room, clean bedding and decent size bathroom.
Restaurant food was a low standard. Breakfast tables were not kept clean in preparation of new diners. Some staff did not have a good attitude to guests who did not have French as a first language.
Same as all Campaniles, can't go wrong. Stayed here last year.
Not the best of areas. But O.K. WiFi would not work with my tablet, other Campaniles no problem.
Food served on the premises Good parking
Room had been used by many smokers which was horrible
Easy to find Good parking and wifi
Not a particularly attractive area
the accommodation was very clean, comfortable beds, nice staff, breakfast very well set out with lots of choice.
when we ordered dinner for the children they were given very large portions. so we felt it was a bit of a waste of food. as they couldn't manage to eat it all. they could have had one between them. the ages were 7 and 13, so not tiny kids. the dinner food was just average, quality.
Comfortable room and bed, excellent bathroom with a great shower
Not impressed with menu options in restaurant on that evening
Clean room at a reasonable price! Would recommend this hotel if smoking was only allowed well away from our rooms and if the Manager was fired!!
Manager's attitude to his staff appalling and not very friendly to us either. He shouted at the Receptionist within hearing distance of ourselves when all she was asking was whether she should ring some guests who hadn't arrived - he kept on shouting at her that it wasn't 23.00 yet! We had to change rooms as it smelled of tobacco and then couldn't open our window as our neighbour was chain smoking on the balcony outside our room.
It was fine for a one night stop over on the journey down through France. It had everything that one would need and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.
la coursive le long des chambres
Not too difficult to find even without Satnav. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms of a good standard and cleanliness. The evening meal was of a good standard and only slightly above a fair price.
I would have preferred a family room for four but these appear to be hard to find in France. However there were adjoining rooms but amazingly we weren't allocated these!
The room was a good size, very clean and soundproof. The restaurant was simple but excellent value.
Motel style hotel.
Room good but wet room dangerous after shower
Cost of meals and drink
cleanliness, room available on early arrival
Very quiet location so after 3 nights near noisy Paris, it was very welcome. Restaurant food was one of the best we have had at a Campanile! Overall a good nights rest and would certainly stay there again.
Nothing to complain about
clean and comfortable for an overnight stop
why are all the Campanile dining areas so spartan and uninviting?
This was average for overnight stopping
Fairly easy to find. Good clean room with comfortable bed and modern bathroom
The new corporate decore (bright green) not to my taste. Llewelyn Bowen on LSD. Poor restaurant with very limited and uninspiring formulaic menu. Not good value at 10 euro for an omelette. Typical hotel breakfast with nothing to justify the price charged. Campaniles used to have good restaurants so I suspect this is a corporate change to cut costs. NOT A GOOD MOVE. No indication of a surcharge for dogs and it was excessive. Bad location immediately on a roundabout making it quite noisy.
Room was basic but had all you needed for one night. Comfortable bed.
Coach party had breakfast before us and we had to wait a long time while the breakfast buffet was replenished. Sat at a table and the waitress slapped down three trays of cutlery and glasses which shook the table. Staff were more interested in clearing up rather than ensuring guests were fed, and breakfast was extra!
variable standard and staff really don't care about service or your needs. broken shutter engine kept us awake half the night...had obviously been broken for a while.
Good location for a stop over while travelling. Easy to locate.
Meals a little overpriced.
