A bit quiet and expensive in House Beers and Food but overall a very pleasant stay with friendly staff,Plenty of parking and close to motorway without the noise, definately stay again. Lime Green bedroom furniture, Coffee at £3.50 per small cup and very limited buffet breakfast at £8.00 were the only very minir downsides.

The location is close to the Channel Ferry port. It is easy to find, restaurant on site, clean, comfortable, competitively priced and the Staff Friendly. I would stay there again.

Proximity to Dunkirk ferry port. Thin curtain and neon light outside meant that there was too much light in the room to sleep well. Otherwise absolutely fine.

Free car park. Fairly clean and pleasant. The room was quite a decent size. The room smelt of cigarette which was probably due to the previous visitor. Probably not much the hotel could have done as it is a non smoking hotel but I had to leave the windows open for the whole stay.

Clean ,good staff, restaurant facilities, and bar The staff were the best asset this hotel has. The rooms were perfectly good, clean and suited a quick trip to france for 3 nights Rather expensive for a 2 star hotel, restaurant staff good but main course being cheese, bacon and pasta was burnt and very dry, we had to send it back and only got a free cup of coffee in its place. Also expensive for what it was. The two previous nights meals were ok perhaps the catering staff were having a bad day.

Convrniently near the dfds Port Rapide with easy access to the Autoroute. Very good bathroom fittings. Comfortable bed The paintwork on the staircase handrails was very worn clearly showing top coat, undercoat, primer and bare wood.It was a pity that the joints between the bath and the walls, the right-angle joints between walls, between the walls and the skirting boards showed gaps where water had penetrated leaving an odour of wood-rot quite unmistakable - despite the use of air freshener. The Shaving mirror was onlu just haning on the wall - I suspect users tried to adjust its position for the best view - but there was no means of adjustment. While there was a fair choice for breakfast, there was no hazm, no eggs and the coffee was rather weak.

Location near Ferry and onsite meal. Shower. Wifi. Seemed expensive for facilities (compared to other chains) - no lift, decor rather tired and battered looking, beds uncomfortable, limited tv choice in english, unsecured parking.

It is handily placed for the cross channel ferry and once yuo've got there you don't have to go out again. Despite booking 4 weeks in advance we were allocated a room which had been adapted (badly) as a disabled room. The only flat surface was in a corner next to the bes and was overful with hospitality tray, kettle, phone, TV remote and assorted paraphernalia. This left just one chair seat and the floor to put luggage and other belongings down. When you're in your seventies the floor seems a long way off when fumbling for a clean pair of socks There used to be a residents' lounge/bar in the reception area but this has now been removed so there are no comfy chairs anywhere to relax in. Dinner was busy and,as usual, this seemed to take the management by surprise and no extra staff were brought in making service very slow. The main course was poor, and we had to wait nearly half an hour to have the table cleared, and the sameagain after dessert and coffee.

The room was very clean and tidy. There were a toilet, a shower, air conditioning and a TV - all clean and in good working order. The bed was comfortable. The room was quite small but big enough for one night. The sound proofing of the building wasn't very good. We could hear the sound of the nearby road, which was a bit too loud with the rainy weather.

This hotel was chosen by us for the close proximity to the ferry port, which was excellent and so straight forward. It was only a ten minute drive away and we would definitely use it again for this reason. Also the supermarket Auchan Grande was only a 25 minute drive away.

We arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant closed (late ferry crossing) and the staff happily served us a meal despite closing time at 10.00pm. Full marks!Good breakfast too. Very noisy youngsters in th e next room, I think they were drunk, who insisted on making noise (non-stop talking, laughter, all at high pitch) till well after 1.00am despite other guests requesting them to close the door/window. We also asked at reception but the noise continued till they decided to go to sleep.
