Campanile Evreux  

Conveniently situated for our journey to UK. Clean comfortable bed and easy evening meal after a long days journey. The ladies in the restaurant were very nice & friendly.

Pleased with everything no complaints.

The restaurant menu choices were good and well priced

Rooms appear to have been updated fairly recently bathrooms need attention Whilst the bed was extremely comfortable, it was a 6ft bed in a space for a 5ft. This means that there is very little space on one side with no room for a bedside table and on the other the table stuck out into the walkway to the bathroom. Easy to walk into when half asleep!

I always stay at Campanile Evreux but this time the room was rather smelly with cigarette smoke - disappointing! but will not deter me from future bookings

Quick and Easy when travelling

Lights didn't work in bathroom so had to shower in the dark. Scruffy place not at all as pictured on the website.

The hotel staff are excellent . Helpful and friendly. Good comforable simple room, comfy beds cleaned daily. Good selection of food from "Buffet" at reasonable cost. For my purposes it's in a good location. Good enclosed free parking. Easy access from Route National.

The sign posting at the hotel entrance on Avn. Winston Churchill needs to be better. I had to ask a local lady where the hotel was. She knew immediately and directed me to it. Tht's the only thing that needs attention

We visited Claude Monets gardens & house in Giverny

Our "non-smoking room" smelt of smoke.My nine yrs old's pull-out bed had bits in the sheets.We requested interconnecting rooms at the time of booking on-line and no-one responded to my email.It would have been easy to make our rooms inter-connecting as there was a door between them but staff told me this was not possible.We felt that the cost of breakfast was exorbitant

The hotel was good and it was nice having a small restaurant on site where the food was reasonably priced and very nice.Didn't have the breakfast as €9 each seemed quite expensive.

The hotel is set back from the road and there is no signage to the hotel from the road. It is therefore very difficult to find. We had been allocated 2 twin rooms on opposite sides of the hotel to each other, even though I had made this booking in January and had requested a double and a twin, both non-smoking. However,one of the rooms had definitely been used by smokers. Obviously, no attention had been paid to my specific requests. Furthermore the overall appearence of the hotel is scruffy and run down.

This is the first time we have stayed here. We used this as a stopover on our way back from the Dordogne. It was very reasonably priced and good value for money. The bed was king sized, it had a large bathroom and widescreen TV. The other plus way a kettle - something that is often missing from French hotel rooms. There was even an extra pillow in the wardrobe. Air conditioning too!! I would definately stay here again.

The situation of the hotel - near the prison and high rise estate. We also found it difficult to access the hotel immediately, signage could be better.

Nourriture légère et savoureuse

Difficile d'accès car mal fléché en venant du centre-ville. Il faudrait revoir la signalitique. D'autre part, odeur de tabac dans la chambre en arrivant. Le personnel a dû passer du désodorisant.

Le calme; la wifi et le comfort du lit

Nous regrettons que les services de Campanile se restreignent de plus en plus : par exemple, les "nouvelles normes" prévoient, paraît-il, la disparition des petites serviettes de la salle de bain. De même, on n'y trouve plus qu'un plat du jour au lieu de deux autrefois.
