Campanile Lyon Centre Part-Dieu  

If only all hotels were like this one how much more comfortable travel would be, amazed to have tea making facilities at last. Such a pleasant room, a bit of a squeeze but would certainly look for the Campanile brand when booking future hotels.

Comfort, spacious

New rooms, as all the hotel (new concept Campanile). Clean and very quiet! I slept with open window, without any difficulties (no noise), although the hotel is in the downtown. I always appreciate the kettle, tea, coffe, cookies available in the room, which is a standard in Campanile! For a french chain, the breakfast is complete (not only croissants and marmolade :-)). The menu for the lunch and dinner is also complete and varied (enough to eat everytime something else, even if you stay few days in the hotel). The dessert buffet is really tasty! Free beverage if you eat in the hotel's restaurant is a very nice gift! The promotion prices was acceptable for such hotel (93 € during the week, 55 € during weekend). The location is perfect: 5 minutes walk from subway and tramway stations, as the Lyon's main train station Part Dieu.

The temperature in the room was too high (the ac was out of service). Thankfully you can open the window. The reception staff has made a double mistake: first, they gave me a room with double bed (I mentionned one big bed in my reservation), then, after changing the room, they gave it also to another client (what a surprise when at 11pm a stranger is entering in your room!). The quality of the products for the breakfast was not at the level of such hotel, and also in a country like France... Rooms are definitely too small. The standard price (112 €) is certainly too high!

I really appreciated the staff. Really welcoming and professional. The hotel is exeptionally clean as well and the design of the room is great. ( i loved the litle green cushions) Little plus as well with the kettle to get a coffee at any time. The shower is large and and handy. Thanks !

It took me one hour to find the place as it was at night and the hotel did not show any sign !!! I was about to find another hotel to be honest. That is the only negative point as all the rest has been really great. Including breakfast.

Very reasonable price for the hotel service, facilities, design and the location.

Rooms are so small.

Location is good. The hotel is located close to several stops of transportation system (metro, tram and bus). The hotel is clean, staff is friendly and breakfast is excellent.

The location is very convenient for late arrival from the airport via the Rhone express.

The restaurant was poorly organized, buffet food was very dissapointing and hygiene was terrible. It took 3 changes of cutlery to arrive at a lightly stained set which I needed to clean myself with a napkin before use. Still some work needed on restaurant management!!!

It's a nice hotel for single traveler. Room is not very big but it's good enough for one person to stay in comfortably.
