Nice hotel and room
Restaurant not that good
Hotel was very pleasant. Located in a nice area, next to the main highways and relatively easy access to Paris. Vincennes (RER A) is only 15-20 minutes drive, and then 10 minutes to the centre of Paris. Or 25 minutes directly to the city center if there is no trafic.
It seemed that the cleanliness of room was fine, but almost every evening (2 out of 3) I discovered a new big spider on the ceiling, although the windows were closed.
Hotel parking (charged). Within walking distance of train station, supermarket, other shops, restaurants.
Convenient location next to highway, but surprisingly quiet end with nice view from the window
We were not allowed to enter the hotel restaurant with our dog. We understand the restriction in the interior, but why we could not sit down with our small French bulldog in a half empty terrace? This was absurd.
Friendly staff, design of the room, comfort of the bed, quality of the shower room, free wi-fi for multiple devices, easy to get from train station, lovely river view.
Room was rather small, tiny window - not enough light, no "do not disturb" signs - constantly bothered by cleaning personnel on Sunday morning.
The hotel was located across from a river and the rooms came with a very nice view. The staff was great and offered restaurant and metro directions. There are restaurants located near the hotel and metro is just a few blocks away (10 minute walk). The rooms are basic but well maintained and have comfortable beds. The metro exchange is easy to make to get to the city center.
Room was really comfortable, clean. Breakfast was really good I can recommend this.
We came at the night and the guy who was serving us was really moody. If he is a receptionist I think he should speak English, good that I was with friend who speaks French because I would have problem. We had a little issue with this man. I booked an hotel by website booking.com. My friend was with her son ( 4 years old) I booked this hotel and I received a message as a confirmation of booking. In this message we had an information that one child under 10 years older stays free of charge when he using existing beds but the guy was arguing with us that we need to pay for baby. At the end of this we didn't pay for the child but even now I don't know who was right. Does the website booking.com give wrong information to customers and receptionist was right that we needed pay for the baby or the guy didn't know hotel policies. We were really happy about hotel but this situation was stressful.
room ok, location near to convenient train connection with Paris
one relatively small towel per person, no floor towel in bathroom, on booking.com site of hotel it was specified that parking was free, appeared to be 10 Euro per night
The people in the recipient are very friendly. The sheets and towels were very clean
No safety box
Only one lady (the evening shift lady) was helpful. Feel very sorry to say that nothing else was liked.
The staff, with the exception of the evening shift lady, were deliberately unhelpful. They said it was impossible to print a train ticket off for us if we emailed them the PDF. They said their computer did not have the internet (even though later the evening shift lady did it for us). That's just one short example. We were made to feel stupid every morning with the breakfast- The breakfast was horrible for the price. Wifi was very slow. Our room smelt of cigarette smoke - had to air out room while out and even the sheets stunk of cigarette. It would seem that all the staff we dealt with except one are bigoted and intolerant of people who are not French, no matter how hard you try to be respectful and appease them. Non French people should avoid this place like the plague.
Very clean(refurnatured 2012)
15 minutes walk to RER station.
Near station, 10 minutes walk, to go to Paris centre.
Rather small room.
Value. Location is exactly in the middle between Paris and disneyland.
One man from reception was rude and speaks with high voice.
Very nice staff Clean room Great price
Paper cups for tea/coffee Not enough milk
Large and comfortable rooms, specially when compared with the Parisian standard. Beautiful view of the Marne river from some of the rooms. 20min walk from Pavillon Baltard.
Not many people around on the streets late at night. There were some stains inside the toilet (perhaps unremovable, because other than this the room was shining).
nice location after all not too far using RER (A and E) Good jogging path close to the river
nothing in particular
Modern furniture of the room, kindness and availability of the staff, wi-fi functioning in the room and fast, good dinner at the restaurant, nice view on the river.
Impossibility to set the temperature in the room, there wasn't the hair-dryer in the bathroom.
the room is clean and OK
the breakfast, no change, every day is the same
Hotel was excellent, staff was very professional and town is beautiful.
A tad slow but stable internet connection in hotel.
the breakfast was until 09:00! No international satellite TV.
the view outside the window was beautiful and the facility and cleanliness made a comfortable stay.
the wifi never connects, even the staff couldn't help to solve it.besides, the location is very far from the centre and not close to the station.
Very, very very friendly people at the reception. Restaurant is good
No gent Sir Marne is an excellent spot and I can highly recommend it. Staff was pleasant.
Ordered breakfast for early departure as recommended by the hotel receptionist. Unfortunately nothing available and an unpleasant night porter which could only make a few grunts. Tried to charge more than the agreed rate of Booking.com, which never had happen to us in any other hotel. Had to explain it to the grunty night porter as he chased us for additional money for the breakfast
I stayed here for a few days with my boyfriend. We asked for a quiet room on the top floor which we got! The room was in a good condition, comfortable bed and the bathroom in an accetable condition. The hotel is around 15 minutes walk to the town center and the train station. There's a lovely bar/restaurant on the left side of the hotel which is cash only. But it's very french, set in a beautiful garden and its definitely worth a visit. On our last day, we asked to stay for an extra one hour but we were told this was not possible. Overall stay was good. The girl at reception was friendly, however I'm not sure about the guy! Perhaps he needs more training on his customer services skills.
Clean, close to the periferique, Friendly staff. (this is our 4th stay)
Hotel was in renovation. No warning when booking. No price reduction for inconvenience (no parking/restaurant available) Not able to open connecting doors 307-309 (very unhandy building fault) Less choice in the breakfast
